Works fine
I used the optical fiber optic cable, with a smart TV from 2021 that has such a optical fiber outlet port for sound, I set up the sound on the TV settings to output to fiber optic as per the TV menu, and with no special configuration on the wireless headphones console except pushing some buttons (don't even know which, but it's intuitive) on the console and turning on the headphones, after charging them, much to my surprised the device worked on the first try. That warrants a five star in my book. If you have a more complicated set-up I can't say what would happen, but for us it worked. Haven't tested the Bluetooth or the noise cancellation features but that's not important to us.
