In this video, Alexander Khakimov discusses the reasons behind poverty.
What hinders us from achieving wealth?
For example, why does a poor person remain in poverty? The primary reason is a lack of sufficient intelligence to attain wealth. To become rich, one must cultivate knowledge, intelligence, and intellect.
What has happened to the intellect of a poor person? Intelligence allows us to discern between good and evil, guiding us in making righteous choices. However, a poor person has lost this discernment, rendering them unable to distinguish between sin and virtue.
How and why does this occur? Such a person has lost the capacity to feel shame, a loss often preceded by the onset of greed.
A wealthy person, overtaken by greed, may commit sins that gradually erode their intelligence. In the end, this leads to their downfall into poverty.
In other words, it is avarice that prevents one from achieving wealth.
Therefore, it becomes the duty of the wealthy to care for the poor.
Through acts of charity, both the rich and the poor can benefit: the rich person rids themselves of greed, while the needy, in receiving this compassion, learns to appreciate the virtues of generosity, love, and service.
Thus, the situation improves for both the rich and the poor, creating a more harmonious and balanced society.
