10/10 for looks and tech. 3/10 for the story. 4/10 for the characters. Over all it’s a 5/10. Good enough for the theater to be worth it, but not good enough to watch it twice.

Screen Rant since I was a child when i first saw it, it was/IS one the greatest Adventures I've ever had... don't care about music, the story, the cinematography heavy CGI Works et cetera ... it's Definitely a 10 for me.

I found something that you missed. In the extended version at the very beginning of the movie , you can see Jake in a wheelchair in a crowd of people in the congested city on earth, everyone’s wearing a mask except Jake. For telling that he really doesn’t belong with the humans.

when Cameron writes scripts, he marks most of the roles down as surnames so the characters can be adopted by either sex. the original name of Dr Augustine was DR. SHIPLEY, but when Sigourney Weaver was cast they changed the name cause... well, you know.

I've seen this movie so many times and I still spot things I never noticed before. I didn't read the comics or get any books on the navi so I never paid attention to their whole anatomy. I just noticed recently they have posable big toes like thumbs for climbing

Avatar's use of cutting-edge special effects is one of the many reasons the film did incredibly well at the box office. Avatar featured the most life-like CGI characters that had ever been seen on the big screen. Cameron achieved the effect he wanted with the use of virtual camera technology.

I love James Cameron's movies, but he is a real hypocrite if he makes billion dollar franchise and talk about he's a tree hugger! U know how much energy and resources it takes to make those types of movies!?! Guarantee the only thing green about that movie was the screens and the money it made. Can't be too hard on him, I'm a half ass environmentalist. At least he cares
