I actually kinda liked the 1st person view! I didn’t really think it would do me any good before the release today, but it turned out to bring me in even more! It’s easier to aim, it looks faster when you run! It’s really overall a great way to portray it, and the people asking why the animal riding is 3rd person! It’s most likely because we don’t want to see animal backs for most of the game, it’s makes it more fun and makes you more enthusiastic over the animals.

I have to completely agree on this with you. tbh it brings me more into feeling like a Na'vi then just a human playing a Na'vi, I feel more surrounded like I am right there on Pandora in the forests and fields!!

agree. i was the same. but it makes sense with the size of the Na'vi. humans look like ants. its a great game, i just bonded with my Ikran. i was having a blast lol just flew around for like 2 hours m. its a beautiful game.

Agreed. I don't understand why people complain so much about this, they've been playing uncharted, horizon, GoW, etc too much I guess... The 1st person view really fits the gameplay, the traversal and combat feel way more natural this way. People saying 1st person games are failures haven't heard about CoD yet...

I heard its feels fun like its far cry 7. By that I mean can we craft weapons armor wallet / backpack upgrades ? Is that true ? If so I'll save up for it. And also heard ther3s more than one ikran type ( like mouantain And forest version etc ) can we choose which we tame and is there any difference gameplay wise ? Like forest being able to camouflage or something ?

i like the first person gameplay tbh! avatar is supposed to be immersive, you’re supposed to feel like you’re on pandora, like a na'vi. i always thought about the third person view when riding ikran and pa'li like tsaheylu, the bond. you’re bonded with the ikran and pa'li, you ride as one. and of course it’s easier to play when you’re riding. but of course i play many other games that are similar to avatar fop and like the third person gameplay too! and sure, i might be biased because avatar is my favourite franchise of all time, but i really enjoy the immersive experience with fop’s first person view. need people to co-op with lol

Well you have to finish a portion of the game to unlock co op anyway, but I imagine the story will still be the same for the player who the other is joining, but I haven’t got my hands on the game yet.

Wait so I do have a question though say if you were farther along in your story mode game than him, he couldn't join your missions but could you still join him and replay some of the missions with him since he still has to do them?

I'm pretty sure you can though cuz you'll be loading into your friends world with their own story progress and exploration progress so whatever missions they have you can do unless they are ahead of you because you can't skip missions

Been playing this game off and on and I actually really enjoy it I just wish the coop was handled better like I wanna be able to quick join someone’s game if they have it open not having to already know a friend that owns the game and plays it in order to play coop because I rarely ever play online so I have like 5 friends but if they made coop like dying light 2’s coop I would definitely be playing multiplayer more.

I purchased avatar frontiers of pandora on my both consoles (Xbox series S and PlayStation 5) I have unlocked coop on both accounts, added to friend list to each other on Ubisoft connect but was not able to join a coop session. When I send the invite from PlayStation 5 to Xbox series S account the invite appears and I accept to view invite, and then nothing happens, I see no invites. Please help I bought this game to play with my girlfriend and we are not able to make a coop session

No you can not, you can only tame one Ikran, choose a selection of some set names, and change colors of the Ikran, as well as give it cosmetic armor, but as for the great eunoptyrix, you can’t find or tame that, as it is not in the western frontier.

Ubisoft designs the best worlds arguably in gaming, and still somehow manages to never make anything NEW and exciting. You play one you play them all. I just cannot support them any longer. But glad people who play this enjoy it. Maybe on a DEEP sale for me.

I think that they should have added elements from the first game into this game. Then start it off right after the first movie and into the second story plus add all the other clans especially the main Omaticaya clan. Come on! As a result it would make the map bigger. And give us more play time, missions, weapons etc. And add the option to toggle between first and third person. This is a PS5 game. It could have been much better.

some people believe 1st person is more immersive. Cyberpunk was originally 3rd person & they switched and I'm very glad they did. it just makes you feel like you're really there which is especially important when it's a game where you explore.
