Their music videos are works of art. Their live shows are ruckus filled chaos accented by heavy pounding instruments fronted by a madman. In reality they are a bunch of really down to earth cool guys with a great sense of humor. The singer is a Kindergarten teacher.

Also,super nice guys...myself and about a dozen fans waited out by their tour bus and they signed autographs, took pictures and stood around talking with us for more than 2 hours after the show, while trivium had charged 200 bucks for a pre show meet and greet (which i paid for and was completely disappointed to get a pic and hello before being basically shoved out after literally 30 seconds) and trivium hightailed it onto their bus, not even a hello to the fans stood by their bus ...sad

They are the nicest guys on earth. I met them in Amsterdam back in February 2019. It was freezing outside at 12 am, so there were just like 5-6 fans waiting for them. They came out, talked, signed our stuff and took selfies. That whole experience was so epic 😭🤘

These guys came to a location in MD that I would have never thought they'd ever appear. My son and I went to see them twice (2014 & 2015) - they came to this location 2 times along with Gemini Syndrome and Brach the Silence. We had no issue getting a picture with them in 2014. We got to take 2 pictures of us with the band and 1 picture of the guitarists with my son. But when we went to the 2015 show, they did not allow pictures. I don't know why.

Just saw Avatar live on Wednesday night. HOLY FREAKING CRAP!!!!! I have NEVER in all of my years of seeing bands like them live so thoroughly enjoyed having my eardrums destroyed. They were the headliner of this tour but brought along juggernaughts like Devin Townshead project, and Dance with the Dead. Very likely the most thoroughly enjoyable concert I've ever been to. P.s. Avatar brings their A game! The performance, theatrics, set design, OH and the freaking trippy/funny ambiance leading up to the actual performance. Warped carnival music playing throughout the building, and fun games of chance at the merch. table to try your luck at certain items :p They really are the full package. If you get a chance to see them on this tour DO IT!

Thank you so much for this reaction!! I Love Avatar! They are a Swedish metacore-ish band...new album from last year is almost an avaunt guard style of metal and I was luck enough to see them live last October when they co toured with trivium and they stole the show! If you want more suggestions for them I'd have to say "let it burn" "smells like a freakshow" "A statue of the king" oh way too many to list, they have not one bad track, imo...thanks again! edit: he has green tea in the gas can, lol

I've seen them live 16 times... they're headlining the Alcatraz festival (not sure when it is, just heard them announce it yesterday) watch the official videos too, these guys are beyond incredible in every category... heavy, Humor, humble, creative, talented AF, ! My favourite band (one of), you should really check out more! Their music videos for the songs "The Eagle Has Landed" and "New Land" are absolutely great! Very creative! Then there is the music... Every. Single. Song. Is different, nothing has the same sound or even the same genre, they go from melodic deathmetal to metalcore to countrymetal. Please check out their whole discography ;) (the first 3 albums were kinda "just" regular melodeath, the fun really starts at The Black Waltz and goes on from there, with Feathers and Flesh being my favourite album.)
