this movie was worth the wait after the first one. i went to see it like 3 or 4 times at the cinema. the visual quality was insane, everything was so detailed and crystal clear. the story was great too, so many parts were relaxing but then there was a lot of tension and stress too throughout. amazing movie!! it's also the only movie that has ever made my friend cry!

Well, the actors of Rotxo and Aonung are not those who appear, their names are Duane Evans and Filip Geljo, Neteyam did not die because of Spider and clearly Spider is not a bad person that is why he did not let Quaritch die because that Quaritch saved him too

Bro said, “You can’t do something more creative with the writing? I predicted Spider was going to save his dad.” Be more creative? Cameron built the universe of Avatar from the ground up. Pandora, the very atmosphere and that humans can’t breathe it, the foliage, the sea, the animals, the Na’vi, the language (which does not exist, by the way, even the sighing underwater,) the amount of time it takes to get to Pandora, the machinery, the fact that the Na’Vi can store memories and spirits into the world, and so much more I could lost off; and the man says “be more creative.” I know what he means, but still.

He first predicted Spider was going to join his dad & betray everyone, but he didnt (people swear he was an op when all he really did was waste their time. I mean, he couldnt even snitch if he wanted to because he didnt know where they went 😂). Being able to predict (one) plot points in a story doesnt mean its bad or not creative & not being creative doesnt mean something is bad either.

Quaritch will be still around in Avatar 3, but the main villain will be a whole new Na'vi tribe. The Ash people. I'm very excited, James Cameron said the movie will have a much darker tone 👀

Fun fact - the original cut for Avatar 2 was 9 hours but then it got split into Avatar 2 and Avatar 3

No there was never a 9 hour cut for The Way of Water. That was originally a rumor for Avatar 3 but Cameron debunked it himself early this year. He said he meant 3 hours of materials for each sequel. And the decision to spilt the first script into two films was during the screenwriting process, when they realized that this massive story needed to be told through two movies.

Great reaction. But I do not like how you all are blaming Spider for everything. He is a 16 year old kid who has been neglected and alone for most of his life on Pandora. He is a Navi soul born in a human body, he acts to Navi to be considered human, and was born human so no one truly considers him Navi. The only people he had and truly saw him for who he really is were Kiri, Lo’ak, and Tuk. He might have made some mistakes along the way but he is just a kid, and he loves the Sullys and Pandora more than anything in the universe.

Yep. Spider was mainly floating in limbo basically while growing up, having no spirit-parents as Neytiri refused to accept his place in the family & Jake wouldn't override her, and the scientists that were tasked with raising him in the labs, they were just giving him the very basics, they didn't love him. He was a Sully from the beginning once he started growing up in the forest, and the kids all accepted him as their brother already, thus why Lo'ak was able to convince Neteyam to go back for him, they both cared for Spider, of course they were going to go after him. Plus, all the stuff Spider was supposedly "helping" the Recoms with, that was because he truly had no choice. It was either he works with the Recoms, or is dragged back to Bridgehead for more brain torture, literally what Recom Quaritch tells him, "Just ride along... or I gotta give you back to the lab coats." The time of how "fast" Spider & the Recoms were working, was a lot longer than was shown, naturally. The filmmakers actually used Ronal's pregnancy to tell the time passing. Spider also only rescued Recom Quaritch because he felt there was a debt owed by him for Recom Quaritch having let Kiri go, plus it's trying to show that Spider isn't like Quaritch, and he doesn't want to be like him either. He's his own person.

This movie…Is truly worth it. I was Very happy to know that it’s three hours long. When a movie or an episode is That good. You Want it to last for as long as possible. You want to feel Every moment it can offer. And for that I’m not disappointed in this movie. Still rips my heart in two over Neteyam’s death….10/10 Have you seen the series called The Chosen??? Highly, HIGHLY Advised you check it out if you haven’t.

I love the video but what I don't love is how y'all are blaming/hating on Spider. Like y'all do know that Spider is a 16-year-old child who did nothing but live but yet was hated and neglected by his speers aside from Kiri and Lo'ak all because he was human and was Quaritch's child. And lets be real, Neteyam would still be here if Lo'ak didn't go to warn Payakan, which I understand but still tho. And the only reason Spider "helped" the recoms is because he had know choice, like he is a hostage to the RDA. And that he only saved Quaritch because he felt in debt to him when he saved him from the mind machine thing and that he had let Kiri go.

He had no where to go, NO ONE was trying to rescue him…he had to spend 8-9 months with the recoms 24/7 …if he didn’t go along w/ Quaritch, they were going to send him back to be tortured.. and the recoms also had already some knowledge of Navi language and their culture as well. He didn’t snitch on nobody.

I used to love Avatar, went to the cinema in 2009, and I even had the PC game, until I realized as an indigenous person, they just copy various indigenous cultures and especially how Cameron mocks and ignore indigenous voices in regard to appropriation. The prequel is trash compared to the 1st one, and in the 2nd it’s clear they have just copied Polynesian culture especially Maori. In the 1st it’s a mixture of Bantu/black, South East Asian and Native American cultures…

Its great visuals but story sometimes doesnt make sense ( like metkayina leaving sullys at the end of a fight) . Same trope of humans always bad, nature navi always good. Spears against same glass. It would add much complexity if Earth was dying and everything what humans did was for survival and not only worst greed. Also to show Navi not only as peace loving, spiritual hobos without diseases, catastrophies or wars😂

Ya'll they are blaming spider cuz he caused alot of people to die and lose their homes. And also indirectly causing neteyam's death. Cuz neteyam wouldn't have died if lo'ak didnt want to save spider. And Neteyam didnt deserve to die. He in 1/8 of his life as Na'vi live up to be 160-180 yrs old. He died at 15. Brother just hit double digits and got ended cuz he wanted to save a traitor.... I think the hate is understandable.

No one is confused about why they don't like Spider, it's because they don't think he was as bad as they think. Spider literally didn't do anything except waste their time & translate the Na'vi. The worst thing he did was lead them to the Banshees, which ultimately didn't do much. Who died because of him? The tribespeople who got their houses burned weren't killed. The people who fought looked like they suffered little to no casualties. And the Tulkun that died was going to die anyway because there were already people hunting them. He didn't know where Jake was & was resisting that mind-reading thing so he didn't even tell them where they were before they left. It's not his fault that his BEST FRIENDS THAT HE GREW UP WITH went to save him & got shot. He didn't even ask them to do it. They just went for him. Thats a fucked up thing to blame on someone. If you want to be like that, the whole situation happened because Lo'ak wanted to warn Payakan. The only thing he did that I could understand him being hated for is letting Quaritch live, but that doesn't bother me personally. But if everyone just said that's why he sucks I wouldn't even care.

Due to his recking the ship specifically…neteyam dying was going to happen regardless bc even if they didn’t go back to save spider, loak and neteyam would’ve gone back to save kiri and tuk who were stuck on the ship. Plus neteyam didn’t play it smart either, shooting while hiding instead of shooting and jumping into the water. Dumb move on his part imo
