8:07 is one of my favorite moments because it's so easily passed off as a 'just for the laughs' but when you really think about it, it's an understated moment that shows JUST how much the gang has come to trust Zuko now. A few months ago, they wouldn't hesitate to attack back, including Katara who literally told him "give me one reason to think you'll hurt Aang, and I'll end you." And now here we are, Zuko fully going after Aang, and the reaction was "Zuko destroyed my sand sculpture! .. oh, and also, he's attacking Aang." The growth, I tell you. Children of abusers often go on to become abusers themselves, because even if they recognise this is wrong and hurtful, it's what's familiar to them and it's very difficult to unlearn. I find it interesting that the two most pivotal moments in Zuko's life that changed it completely, (During the series at least) both took place during his father's war meetings. The first was when he spoke out of turn and was banished. The second was when he (and Azula) gave his father the idea to burn the earth kingdom to ash. Funnily enough, these moments mirror each other. When Zuko spoke out of turn, he did it to protect young soldiers, and was forced to confront his father in a duel, which he refused. Resulting his being scared and banished. The second time, he said nothing against the plan, despite disagreeing with it. He then chose to confront his father which resulted in him winning a small duel and joining the Avatar to dethrone his father.

Something that i love in this episode, zuko called aang and sokka by their name, no longer the avatar or filthy peasant

I'm with Aang, killing is wrong no matter who, if you can find a way around it that's better

Sozin was the one responsible for the death of the air nomads and temples.

You don't have to be really sad. There's always the comics to fill you up to lost adventures, and ones yet to come, the GAang, and much Zuko ahead. As far as i know, while the tv series is over, this universe is ever-expanding, and who knows what's gonna happen next. See you guys on the next one. Cheers.

That moment of season 3 of the 100 was really bad but I still think the series overall was pretty good

With the whole conversation in the begginning, I'm thinking their first anime shouldve probably been something more wholesome than aot, like mob psycho or something lmao

THEY *NEED* TO WATCH MOB PSYCHO TO MAKE THEMSELVES HAPPY AGAIN AFTER AOT! ...And Haikyuu, too, may be.

i so appreciate how you two understand that azula is a child, too, just like zuko. she ironically got the bum end of the deal by being ozai's favorite and having some *major* empathy issues, but she's still a child.

one minor thing that always bugs me is how the Gaang (except Zuko) thought that waiting until after the comet passes was ever a good idea, even if their reason was because Aang's not ready. Considering how Sozin used the previous comet to wipe out the Air nomads and Ozai was prepared for the eclipse did they really think that he was just gonna chill during the comet??
@wandanemer26303 жыл бұрын
Ozai has not chilled a day in his life.
