Honestly I'm disappointed. Aang doesn't feel aang Katara doesn't feel Katara. Sokka isn't funny and hungry anymore. They twisted many plots and back story. Also they twisted a lot of story. But I liked how they showed genocide of air nomads. I'm a big fan of animated series. But this show is okay okay as far as for adaptation. It's good for the people who haven't watched animated show.

It was painful to watch this adaptation. It felt like they added some missing chapters from original series and made the whole new series cause if you have watched the original series then you will say that this is not avatar the last Airbender this is some random bald guy the last Airbender who happens to be the avatar. Instead of roku we have kiyoshi instead if kiyoshi island chief being male there is female chief who happens to be sukis mother, aang never even tries to learn the water bending, jet bumi eastern air temple secret tunnel episodes were mixed so much and twisted in their own way which ruins the feeling. Bumi seems way off tone and constantly bashing and gaslighting aang for leaving the world at war and his challanges were there just for the sake of gaslighting and nothing else no out of the box thinking for aang. Roku was introduced way late in and he was a joker rather than the serious guy who can provide wisdom to the young avatar and warns him about the comet and how aang has to master all the elements before summer instead he is just making jokes nothing serious about him. This show feels like they made some check boxes that we want this ok check just mix them with this episode which falls so flat and i didn't like even a 1 bit
