AvE knife

Just putting together my AvE utility knife. Really a nicely made Thing, and it feels great in the hand. Should last forever and then a couple of generations thereafter. Used a small surface plate and 220 grit sandpaper (wetted) to knock off the tall bits leftover from laser cutting. Unfortunately, I had to use an old crusty DeWalt blade I had lurking around the bench because I ordered the wrong size Olfa blades. Anyhow, nothing to see here, please feel free to move along if this isn't your cup of tea. Skookum as Frig!

Got mine together. Skookum as frig. I am going to peen the screws over once I make sure I don't need to take it apart again.

Great idea. I used mine for carpet cutting and they loosened up on me. Thinking about loctite

Measure the blade retention pin to the blade hole, my pin is 6mm, blade holes are 5mm, I’m left with a paper weight.

Install the pin the other way around

@@jdjbondycomplete brain fart on my end, I bought 18mm instead of 25mm blades. Stupid.
