Ave Maria - The Morehouse College Glee Club and Cornell University Glee Club

A joint endeavor as a part of the Morehouse College Glee Club's 2013 spring tour. Cornell and Morehouse shared the last two songs of the concert and gave an enthralling performance of Franz Biebl's Ave Maria and Morehouse conductor David Morrow's Got A Mind To Do Right. A great big thank you to Dr. Morrow and all of the Morehouse men. It was truly a pleasure to host your concert and hear you sing.

Incomparable privilege, yeah Jair? I had a similar opportunity with BYU Mens Chorus in 1996. Afterwards our conductor Mack Wilberg became the Mormon Tabernacle Choir director. I'd pay big money to hear Morehouse Glee, Cornell Glee & the MoTabs sing together, hope they do someday soon.

I'm a CUGC alumn and I still remember with shivers singing at Harvard in the Men's Collegiate Choral Festival and hearing Moorehouse perform Betelehemu...what an amazing group. Proud to see them at Sage with Cornell. Yeah Guys!!!

Bravo, gentlemen! I've listened to about a dozen performances of the Biebl Ave Maria by men's choruses tonight, seeking perfection for this most gorgeous of pieces. I had almost given up, and then I found this video! You truly understand what makes this piece tick! Loved the spatial separation of the two choirs at the beginning. This performance is to be cherished!
