A lot more of that was clearly written by the Rev, and it brings a lot more attention to his style, and where this song came from. HIGHLY recommend anyone check them out, Pinkly Smooth. There is a video on youtube with the entire concert at LBC, just an FYI. I would really enjoy watching you react to it. FoREVer RIP The Rev

I'm a few weeks late Jeebz, but the only lineup changed have been the bassist from the second album onward has been Johnny. After Jimmy's passing, Mike Portnoy (dream theater) was a fill in for the remainder of the Nightmare album and Aaron(?) Was their drummer on the Hail to the King album. Brooks Wakman(?) (Bad religion) Is their current drummer.

I dont know any A7X fans that don't love this song! It's a bit rough lyrically for new listeners, but the music is so beautiful, and it is just so much fun to listen to. The story it tells is incredible. This band has been one of my favorites for a long time. I still remember the day I learned of The Rev's passing. He will be missed foREVer.

Pretty sure I left a comment on the last A7X video you did saying that they are an amazing band. I'm glad you are seeing what I meant. :-D

The Stage by Avenged Sevenfold is one of the best songs I've ever heard and it's also a complete journey with several movements. I would recommend checking it out.

The fact that he related this to bohemian rhapsody suprised me because that's how I always describe it too

Their former drummer and lead guitarist were involved in a project called Pinkly Smooth, which fit the same exact styling of Oingo Boingo, which is where the inspiration for this song came from.

Still listen to them to this day. Nothing rips through me like Mezmer. I think that was the rev at his finest.

When you mentioned Bohemian Rapsody the first A7X song that came to my mind was The Stage. I think you will really enjoy it.

A little Piece of Heaven was Rev’s masterpiece. Only he could of thought of a song like this. RIP REV.

Awesome video, A7X are a precious band for the metal scene as they're always evolving. Also I recommend you Roman Sky! Such a beautiful track from their last album The Stage.

Avenged is like a low key zeppelin. Where each musician is amazing at their craft. Obviously not to zep level, but it’s still so cool to see such a complete level of talent across the whole band.

Zeppelin couldn't hold a candle to the musicianship of A7X. The insane 3rd and 3rd/4th harmonizing that Brian and Zack come up with is incredible. Jimmy Page could never play what they come up with, and Jimmy the Rev would drum circles around John Bonhem.
