Former band kid here. This reminds me of a time in High School, when the cheerleaders had a competition thing at the same place as our band recital. So we had to share a bus with some cheerleaders and they were not HAPPY to be sharing with the “Weirdos”. Which we totally were but that’s neither here nor there. They kept playing they’re crappy pop music so loud and were being obnoxious about it. So my friend Micheal powered up his Bluetooth speaker, and we talked it through with EVERYONE in band. Fortunately, we were all familiar with this song. So we had an impromptu acapella concert and drowned them out. We had the brass doing the chorus, everyone else kind of freestyled it. Imagine 24 misfits all coming together in harmony and for one glorious second, we were all one.

On a strictly musical standpoint this is one of their best songs. If I remember correctly this song wasn't supposed to be on the album but the further they got into making it in studio and getting more aspects to it the note they loved it

Awesome reaction. Would LOVE to see some more A7X. Would highly recommend some of their more unique songs like: - Fiction - this was written by The Rev (their original drummer) and he gave it to the band 3 days before he died. It was originally called “Death”, and is the story of a man dying and saying goodbye to his friends. It’s a really powerful song and feature mostly The Revs vocals. - Bromoton Cocktail - easily one of their most underrated songs and has a lot of orchestration/strings behind it which is awesome. The song is about someone dying of a terminal illness and wanting to go out their way. Ironically, the drugs used in a Brompton cocktail are very similar to the drugs found in The Revs system when he died. With that said, GREAT reaction, and I’m hoping you do more soon (like real soon 😉).
