I have absolutely no problem that she likes STST but I have problem with the STUPIDITY high ratings of Hail to the king! By far their worst album! But I do respect the fact that Waking the Fallen gets credit for once!

God Tier: City of Evil, Nightmare, The Stage Great Tier: Waking The Fallen, Self Titled, Hail to the King Good Tier: Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, Diamonds in the Rough God tier is a toss up for me really, they're all incredible. City of Evil is in your face shred, Nightmare is pure emotion, The Stage is mature and techincal. Great tier is nowhere near as close. Waking the Fallen has a handful of songs I absolutely love but a bunch I never cared for. Self Titled is loaded with solid songs but as I got older it just didn't age well for me. Hail to the King imo is probably their most underrated album and I admit I don't care for it. The songs are all great but if I wanted 80s style metal then I would just listen to 80s metal. Good Tier. STST is also very underrated. I hated it when I first heard some of those songs probably 15 years ago, but like you said I've learned to love how raw it is. Diamonds in the Rough is a solid album of B sides, covers, and lives. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just incomparably weak against their other releases. They don't have an album I don't like. They have very few songs I don't like. I don't care for about half of STST and WTF, seize the day is the only weak song for me on COE. Self titled all the songs are good, just not many.. if any hit like they used to for me. Nightmare is just near flawless thanks to that raw emotion. Hail to the King I cannot stand Doing Time and Crimson day is weak. The Stage... Roman Sky is fairly weak, great song but just really doesn't fit in. Also I do not care for God Damn at all. I acknowledge that it's a good song but it's only three minutes and some change long and by the time I'm starting to get into it.. the song is over..

I'd rank them like this: God tier: Nightmare, Waking the fallen, The Stage Great tier: Life is, but a dream..., Diamonds in the rough, City of evil, Self titled, STST Baad!: Hail to the king Hail to the king is OK album! It has some good songs, but... Some are really bad. Planets is the biggest music accidents I've heard in a while, doing time was meh, shepherd of fire was the worst opener they've ever made. Nothing really to chew on. There are some songs like Coming home, Crimson day, Acid rain that try to carry the whole album, but just these 3 are NOT enough!

Waking the fallen was my introduction to avenged sevenfold, chapter four was the first song I ever heard from them and it was through Madden 05 I believe

Their self-titled album & City of Evil will forever be my favorite albums from A7X. So much bangers like Bat Country, Seize the Day, Beast and the Harlot & M.I.A. while the self-titled has Critical Acclaim, Afterlife, Almost Easy & A Little Piece of Heaven. Even with that, all of their albums have amazing songs that all deserve the spotlight in their own way. My favorite of all time being So Far Away from Nightmare, such a breautiful & tragic song that memorializes The Rev after his passing. After hearing Nobody from LIBAD, I can't say how excited I am for the future of A7X!

God Tier: Self-titled, Nightmare, COE (if only we could put M. Shadows' vocals from Nightmare and HTTK era, so it's less nasal :/ ). GREAT: The Stage, WTF, HTTK Good: DITR Meh: STST As someone else pointed out, STST sounds too cringe, and production-wise, is terrible. I do appreciate some songs though, like Warmness on the soul and Turn the other way.

No way you placed The Stage below Stst and even Hail to The King. For me, HTTK is almost trash. It is so lame and slow and boring. It is like… soul-less. While the stage has all the creativity and rhythm and that beautiful A7X touch that makes them unique. And I can say that very few bands sound unique to me. Maybe only A7X and Metallica. Others have their own original style and I can love them but being unique is something else and HTTK is nowhere near uniqueness.

The first two Albums literally hurt my ears now. It wasn't as bad when I was earlier, but I think I'm more sensitive now. City of Evil also has some songs that I can't listen to anymore because they just hurt. But for the most part, that was probably the start of their real rise imo. You can tell that as they go along with the albums, whether it's the instrumentals, lyrics or vocals, everything improves dramatically over time. The self-titled Album was definitely better than City of Evil overall. Nightmare, although they lost Jimmy, it was still better overall. It's kinda ironic, but I think that because of how deeply they were all affected by the loss, their writing became much deeper and darker, but for music that's actually a good thing. Oddly enough, I saw Avenged Sevenfold in concert right before Jimmy died(Like a few months at most). Hail to the King is the second-best Album, with Heretic being one of their best songs imo. The Stage is the best. When I first listened to it, I didn't really care for a lot of the songs... But the more I listened, the more I realized how amazing it was. Diamonds in the Rough was somewhere in the middle. All the songs were good, not the best, but still pretty damn good. In the end, I would have to Rank The Stage first, Hail to the King second, both in God Tier. Nightmare, Avenged Sevenfold, Diamonds in the Rough and City of Evil in that order on the Great Tier. Then the rest would be somewhere in Meh, because I don't think they deserve to be Trash, but I just can't physically listen to them without experiencing actual pain anymore.

A homage isn’t considered plagiarism! They stated many times in 2013 when it was coming out that it was meant to be a homage album

@@caitycore It's not homage, it's plagiarism, listen to This Means War and Sad but True, listen to Heretic and Symphony Of Destruction, listen to Shepherd Of Fire which has the same drums as Enter Sandman, listen to Set Me Free (which was also made at the time of HTTK) has a part that is equal to Iron's Wasted Years
