So, the line "My hand is on the trigger, I'm ready to ignite, tomorrow might not make it, but everything's alright" is a reference to Hunter S. Thompson's real life death that year in 2005. He was on the phone with his wife and shot himself. I'm surprised someone mentioned that, because it's pretty uncommon knowledge even for dedicated A7X fans.

Yet another great reaction - If you want to dig further into Bat Country (besides the obvious Live in LBC-video, that you HAVE to see) - you should watch either "The making of Bat Country video" - two parts - OR (or both) - the Breakdown of the song. The first one will give you a lot of funny Jimmy-clips and old-times crazyness - the breakdown is a part of a series the boys made last year, where they break down some of their songs through the times. :)

Hey man, glad you're feeling better. Check out some of their newer stuff too. I don't know if you heard Brooks' drumming for A7X (I'm not counting So Far Away live you heard during the livestream), but he's really good too. Something like Paradigm, Higher, Sunny Disposition, Fermi Paradox or over 15 minutes long masterpiece - Exist.
