I fucking love this album! Hail the King was cool but I didn’t enjoy it as much as Nightmare, but this album brought back the A7X fire.

HTTK is easily their worst album, not terrible or anything but just so boring compared to their other work, the stage was a big improvement, I’m really excited to see what direction they go with their new album.

It’s just a generic album while the stage was very well received and praised for being extremely fresh snd creative, majority of long time fans of the band have HTTK right toward the bottom of their discography. Not a bad album but for avenged it was a letdown for many longtime fans. It was very popular so many people became fans because of that album so they like it a lot but it wasn’t that well received by longtime fans, my entire group of friends who have all been listening to the band since waking the fallen all thought it was a letdown compared to their other work.

As an adult i dont think badly about songs that arent my cup of tea but till this day i still can't stand hail to the king. Absolute steaming pile of dogshit of a song.

Honestly I still really enjoy this album even if I’m not a huge fan of A7X anymore. Their Proggy era is just so much fun and I can’t wait to See what the rest brings Edit: Watch, they’re gonna put out a butt rock album this year and leave the prog style because it’s not as popular. Comment written on 1/15/ 2021, Mark my words.

Honestly, this was the only song on the album I don’t care for. Only because it sounds more like typical A7x and isn’t as progressive as the rest. Feels like this is the one song on the album for the “A7x bros” fan base.
