m0t0rcade Obviously the Rev would never be forgotten. The Rev lives on through all their music, and there's no way they'd forget him. I'm just saying that I wouldn't want to be reminded about my dead best friend who I'd never be able to see again. They haven't said that, but you can easily tell they don't really enjoy talking about their dead best friend. And even if no one brought Rev up anymore, he would NEVER be forgotten. He was too much of an inspirational drummer to the world that he's literally in the books as one of the greatest drummers in the world. And the band can get the pride and joy from just knowing they knew the Rev.

MajikMan 123 It might just be cause he's played it too much, and the guitar parts aren't that fun. Plus, the solo comes so early in the song, and after that it's just repetition excepting the bridge. Even when the key switches it's still the same monotonous lead part. Rhythmically the lead is boring to play. Or maybe he just doesn't like the song, but I think it has to do with overplaying it and it not being that much fun to play.

Brooks was one of the Revs favorite drummers. He looked up to the whole wackerman family amongst others obviously. And Brooks respects the Revs legacy he left behind. I would be willing to bet all of my money that Brooks doesn't mind questions about the Rev etc. He just can't answer them because he wasn't friends with Jimmy and can't speak for him. As far as I'm concerned Brooks is definitely a better drummer than Jimmy, but Jimmy is just a better musician overall. He was a genius of a song writer and could sing, play piano, play guitar, and play drums.
