This song was written long before the Revs passing. The Rev was in fact the drummer playing in the concert. He died not too terribly long after this concert though. Great reaction though! I know it's difficult for y'all to keep up with all the details for all the bands you react to. Anyway, alot of great input on grief. It's never a good situation, but I find that grief is basically growing pains. Usually grief is the first thing to happen before a huge stepping stone in life. Once you finally come out of the other side you realize it. But before and during it, it usually feels like the end of the world almost.

omg guys this song was written in 2002/2003, and this live performance was in 2008 (or 2007 i could be wrong) and the drummer, jimmy died in December 2009 there's literally no way this was written about him dying unless they had a time machine
