I went into this song without any expectations, in a bland careless “whatever” mood, and unexpectedly immediately fell in love with the track. Put the geekiest smile on my face. I’m probably the odd one out but everything about this song did it for me. The last time a song had this effect on me to this extent was Nightmare. Caught me off guard, blew me away, hyped me up, and exactly what I didn’t know I wanted. They had the balls to try something, and express themselves in a fun and new way - being true to themselves and their art rather than playing it safe or “selling out”. Most bands stick to the same “safe” recipe which can be fine, but these guys continue to grow and change and make what they want without restricting themselves to the same old sound. This song is brilliant and cool as fuck.
