I don't speak Spanish, nor do I have a knowledge of Spanish/Latin-centric music, so I can't speak for how well they executed it from a musical theory perspective. I just know I liked this song years ago when I first heard it play in the credits at the end of Kill Bill vol. 2, and Avenged made it rock now in 2017! Personally, I don't want to see more US rock & metal bands start covering Spanish songs in their native Spanish, because I believe that should be left for the native Spanish musicians to decide when a song could use an update. Besides, if US bands were to start covering more Spanish songs in their native Spanish lyrics, we all know where that debate would go next: All of those overly sensitive, PC, liberal white people out there who believe it is their sacred duty to be offended on behalf of others will start calling this trend "cultural appropriation"; or some other bullshit distraction no one gives a damn about except for all of the other overly sensitive, PC, liberal white people. It's insane when you think about it really. I honestly don't believe there's anything anyone could ever do to please those high-strung wackos who always make mountains out of micro-aggressions....
