Is it worth getting a 2 man bivvy over a 1 man version? Going with a friend 1 or twive a year other moments I sleep there solo. Is it possible to fit a small sleeping bag next to a stretcher in the 1 man version?

I am looking to get away from a brolly as want something I can put an overwrap over and I like the look of the 2 rib design that's all.
