I think an important part of Thor in the MCU is that the character is very old. Hes so old he started to become childlike again because of his insane level of overconfidence. Part of the story that's subtle and important to his whole story is understanding that he already has the experience and understanding of all the new heroes but he started to realize how flawed his overconfidence makes himself. It was a story about a man trying to find himself after realizing his whole life was committed to something bigger than himself(asgard) that he partially separates with to try and become his own. It's a story about understanding your role in the world around you while respecting the commitment and care you contribute to the world around you not just for your own people but for the people you want to create peace with

There's going to be so much damage control with Thor 5. Waititi's apparently been sacked, at least as the director. They'll ditch Korg. Possibly Valkyrie as well. Depending on what their plans for Loki are, they'll probably reunite him with Thor because the chemistry between Hemsworth and Hiddleston has been praised. The movie will take itself seriously and water down the jokes considerably. In short, they'll do away with everything that made Love and Thunder die on arrival. That is, if Thor 5 is happening.

I’d love to see a movie plot based around Thor and Hawkeye. That moment in Endgame between the two after the death of Natasha always gets to me. I don’t know where they would even begin but those two play well off each other. A lot like Hemsworth & Pratt, which also worked despite at times being too goofy but with Renner I could see the two of them in a serious buddy cop film with multiversal stakes. What a bro. Give love and respect, and it will repaid in kind. Hemsworth is one of the real ones. He's basically the only reason why I'm even considering checking out the Max Max movie without Mad Max later this month. I hated Love & Thunder. X-Men '97, Ant-Man 3 (unfortunately), and GOTG3 are the only Marvel projects I've cared to see since because it felt like Marvel either got flooded with people who didn't like or care about what they were doing amd because it was all starting to feel like a parody of itself with its sense of humor, but if Hemsworth wants to do more Thor and do him justice, I'm here for it. He's great in the role done right, Thor has always been a top 5 Marvel hero, and I'll gladly see any good movie with Hemsworth's Thor in it.

I wasn’t that offended by the movie. I was disappointed by the use of the GOTG cameo. I was really hoping for an Asgardians of the Galaxy movie but I guess they felt differently. I think the standalone movie philosophy is was what hurt this phase of movies more than anything. All pre endgame movies were interconnected in some way with overlapping storylines that made you think anyone could show up at any given time. That’s marvel’s formula. Also, they could have made use of this opportunity of having one of the originals interact with some of the new characters.

Ragnarok was the epitome of the phrase "Be careful what you wish for". It was refreshing. It was a load of fun. But it won't age well. When Endgame came out in 2019, I told my friends that 20 years from now, we'd all be saying that making Thor a jokey character was a bad move. Love and Thunder made realise that I was too generous.

It's not Ragnarok that is the problem. It was a good arch. He was learning to be himself and not what he though his father wanted. This issue is AFTER endgame he should have reverted BACK to serious. I Blame all of this Good stuff on Robert Downey, he went from the Dizzying heights of Pop culture Immortality and STILL had Dignity intact to be AN OSCAR WINNER....So Millions of fans, A Huge Bank Account AND the Respect of your peers....THAT'S called ULTIMATE HOLLYWOOD WINNING....and he did it. Even the things he says about his Iron Man role are Respectful. Marvel should do something similar to what they did for Thor in Age of Ultron, have him go on an adventure and look for knowledge to fight back against an upcoming threat. What's lacking with Thor is the scifi mythology of the character. Thor has shown he has knowledge of ancient stuff, which they should be focused on. Plus, the character of Thor has been humanized too much & should go back to his "god" roots. Marvel writers need to stop reading gender books & actually read Norse Mythology, and come up with more creative ideas. Hopefully Thor 5 is some clash of gods style movie with more Norse/Viking mythology. Shit! I wanna see Thor chop more heads off!

1:17 so I can think one two reasons both of the are crazy conspiracy theory kinda stuff so one is RDJ just happened to be in this place also doing a thing and he heard that hemsworth was doing a interview and just popped in, kinda like how Chris just popped into that weather reporters video. The second one is less bizarre this was a test from marvel to see what reaction RDJ gets from the fans aka do the fans still want him because that option to brake glass incase the franchise is dying is a really expensive one and RDJ has ungodly levels of negotiating power because both him and marvel know they need him, they killed him off because he was too expensive now he is even more expensive, so before marvel bring him back they want to make sure that water is in fact wet. If they want to get a repeat of endgames numbers they 1 get a good story none of the rubbish they have been vomiting up of late, 2 have Tom Hiddleston as Loki prime (god of story’s or whatever name they are doing to call him) bring back Chris Evens as cap, RDJ as Tony (maybe it’s an AI that Tony left on the systems as a failsafe) and Chris Hemsworth as normal buff Thor (so him and Loki can finally have that reunion the fans have been wanting for years) you could even bring back Scarlett Johansson as blackwidow but it’s not as impactful as the other four (she got screwed over by them waiting as long as they did for her solo film it should have happened after Ironman 2 when it was clear how cool she was) them four leads and a good story could do a fantastic setup for the next phase, because as it is the MCU needs help as the Xmen alone can’t save it from how they have treated it of late.
