I think you're going a little crazy with this “Worst Wolverine Ever…this Wolverine sucks” theory lol. You kinda lost me when you said “the worst fighter”…because from what I read before, and from some the scenes of Deadpool flying all over the place, he still looks like a badass lol. Here's my theory: 1) He was the “best there is” at one point…before Cassandra Nova takes Mysterio’s role, and brainwashes Wolverine into killing the X-Men. And humanity suffers because of it. So he's given up on everything. 2) Wolverine doesn't kill Dark Phoenix and Jean kills millions of people. So he blames himself and has given up on everything. I think one of those situations is more plausible than him just sucking.

I agree about this worst Wolverine theory, I'd say he easily could have been led astray to allow his timeline to die the same way Deadpool is being led astray to go on some mission for the TVA. Then you've got the TVA lying to Deadpool telling him that this Wolverine let his world down, which they could easily say about Deadpool if he's the anchor for his world and it somehow falls apart while he's not there because he's off doing what the TVA sends him to do.

Let's think things through: I assume that you're talking about the Old Man Logan possibility. One, they already did LOGAN…which featured a visibly older, run down Wolverine. They're more than likely not going to do an exact recreation of the original OML storyline. That's a firmly set in the main Marvel Universe story, featuring main Marvel universe characters…and a just slightly-older-than-LOGAN character. That story touches on some of the same exact notes as what happened in LOGAN and what's happening in this up-coming movie. What…they’re going to do a THIRD live-action Wolverine redemption movie in a second dystopian future for Wolverine, with an exact recreation of OML…after Wolverine gets in the main Marvel Universe lol? Seems redundant, correct? Second, THIS IS THE MULTIVERSE. Who's to say that the exact OML story doesn't still happen somewhere in the multiverse of literal endless possibilities…and this is just a universe where something similar happens? Third, If you pay close attention, they're already using aspects of OML in this movie. You see multiple graves in the trailer. You see a wasteland. You see the Red Skull’s car. You see nods to the Hulk in the trailer. One of the only differences is substituting wise-cracking Hawkeye for wise-cracking Deadpool. And Cassandra Nova is the perfect replacement for Mysterio. There's more of a personal tie-in…since she's the evil twin of a man who he considers a father figure…even though Wolverine is technically older. She can definitely use her powers to brainwash Wolverine, and there's less background set-up involved. In OML, there was a concerted effort from the Marvel villains to get together to hatch the plan to take down the heroes. They could simplify that here and have that as a plan hatched by Nova to take down the X-Men…leading to a huge Wolverine redemption arc when he finally saves the day and takes her down. You literally cannot tell me that's the stupidest idea you've ever heard, because there are too many ways that it works. It's just different from what you're familiar with. Every movie isn't meant to be an exact translation. There's literally nothing wrong with using aspects of a story in the books to tell a new story that works inside of your established movie-verse. ESPECIALLY when that established movie-verse is a multiverse. AND, with my idea, it ends with Wolverine becoming that hero that Deadpool was looking for, and saving the world before entering the main MCU. How is that a bad thing? I could also just be wrong. I’m right alone with your theory. I’m also thinking Cassandra Nova in the Deadpool and Wolverine is actually a version that was good and that’s why she got pruned. I also think she’s going to show that version of Logan that he can be redeemed and help him and Deadpool escape the void. Because if you look at the part in the trailer where Deadpool and Wolverine are jumping through the portal, she’s in the background smiling almost as if she’s proud. I honestly think Paradox is the true villain and has Deadpool hunting down this variant of Logan because he’s made Deadpool think that Logan is the only way to save his universe, when in reality he’s just fucking with Deadpool’s head. Then Deadpool realizes and they both get pruned. That’s how Cassandra Nova comes into play, she’s the only person in the void that has knowledge on how to escape and helps them. He's the younger version of Wolverine from the Logan movie. In the Logan movie Professor X was getting alsthimizer, or what ever. And his physic backlash was killing massive amounts of mutants. When he first started doing it Wolverine was the only one who could survive being in close to him. He was suppose to kill Professor X to save mutantkind. He couldn't go through with it.

Jackman's great acting, is the only thing that could carry a concept like that. The reason I say that is because everyone knows Wolverine from the movies and I feel it would be very hard for any actor to escape the meta of acting as the same character but different. However, when you see Jackman, even in an interview, you can see that whatever he believes at that time, he throws his whole heart into it and invites everyone to join him. I'm not worried about Jackman's meta but good luck to ANY other talent around him in the movie. These are my thoughts. He told Mags and Prof. X to “F**k off!” And he from then just chose not to be involved. Then from that point him being founded for the Weapon X program is inevitable. So that means, in the Wolverine 2 movie, he gets the “suit” That 1. He never uses or used. Or 2. He joined the X-Men. Or the fact that each Wolverine from the first 2 Wolverine movies are variants. Wasn't there a comic where Wolverine was tricked into thinking all the enemies of the X-men were attacking the mansion and he was fighting them as the X-Men were being killed. But it turned out he was just fighting the X-Men and he killed them all. Could it be that Wolverine being used in Deadpool 3

I like when they loop back to Thanos like in Multiverse of Madness. I'd be perfectly okay if we get a scene of Thanos wrecking his X-Men and snapping and maybe he's the only survivor. Whoever doesn't get killed by Thanos gets snapped and he's all that's left.

All I can do is dream of a post credit scene of DP at TVA saying he did it he saved the MCU, then says actually just missint one thing, then DP opens a portal with a temp pad a seconds later returns with Tony Stark whose telling Wade if h3s nkt bqck before dinner Pepper will kill him, and DP looks at camera and says awkard. Boom if that happened the MCU would legit be hottest thing smokin again.

He will be a better fighter though. Jackman is stated as having done his best combat scenes for this movie. Maybe it's a situation where he's really good but only fights if the price is right. He needs to get something out of it? I just think this version is going to be better combat wise....not worse.

Just make it the same Wolverine from X-men origins and say it was an alternate universe. Nobody like that movie anyways and it would be ironic because Ryan Reynolds was in that movie too. Plus Stryker was a different actor and saber tooth was different than from the first x-men movie so it would make complete sense. Still basically the same wolverine except for a few different decisions he’s made. Maybe in that one he doesn’t kill Jean and she wipes out the world which leads to the messed up world they’re in now with not many survivors and that’s why everyone hates him.

this could still be the logan variant , this takes place before logan ryan and hugh said as much in the teaser clip, this movie could explain why now the animantium is poisoning logan and his heal factor cant catch up ,everything he does in logan could be because of this event, to do some redemption, also goes back to in logan when x-23 shows him the comics and he says its all bull shit , it never happened like that and so on .im hoping it is "logan" cause it will answer alot of lingering questions and it will tie logan up with an even nicer bow ,like did charles really kill all the mutants with his mind freak out and why just the mutants was it an x2 event when stryker used jason to make him do that and he wasnt stopped , but then that wouldnt explain why caliban is still kicking in logan . so many questions to be answered still from logan . either way LETS FUCKNG GOOOOOO

That's just it this can't lead to Logan because wolverine looks younger than he did in Days of Future past Days of Future past he has some gray in his hair so that would screw up the timeline. If this leads to Logan this has to be at different timeline
