Yep he does :) They all train with their respective weapons - Chris H. with the Hammer, so he can catch it when tossed, etc. The same goes to Chris E. with his shield. It goes for the whole cast - for example Clint trained with Olympic archers and for other films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well - for instance Sebastian Stan trained with his knife throwing for the Winter Soldier vs. Cap fight on the bridge.

That video is exactly the same as what's seen in the bloopers but from a top down perspective, no shield is thrown at Cap but the way Thor drops the hammer is exactly the same as it is in the bloopers. You get used to seeing these guys as the characters they play, which are a bunch of super-tough super-awesome superheroes... and then you watch the gag reel, and they're all such complete dorks, and they're all so adorable about it that you just bloody melt because you adore them all and they're the absolute best. And someone needs to tell Tom Hiddleston that no grown man is allowed to be that cute when he giggles, there's a city ordinance against it, it causes life-threatening levels of squee in women over the age of seven.
