We got invited to check out Disneyland’s newest land, Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure a few days before it officially opens to the public! We do a complete walk through of the entire new land and of course we saw some of our favorite Marvel characters along the way including the Dora Milaje, to Doctor Strange’s Ancient Sanctum and even Spider-Man flying high above WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure! We also got a sneak preview some of the food at The Shawarma Palace, Terran Treats, Pym Test Kitchen and Pym Tasting Lab. #AvengersCampus #Marvel

Huge props to that Dr. strange actor. Cumberbatch was probably the hardest to cast because he has such a unique look. The actor really got the mannerisms down well enough to come across as the character.

I showed this video to my boys (ages 8 and 10) and they were totally glued to the screen. The 10-year-old is a major Dr. Strange fan, and the 8-yr-old wants to meet Black Panther. I love the Pym test kitchen. That giant crouton is right up my husband’s alley 😁

They railed on Sam as if he was an entirely new addition to the team, or the MCU & he’s not. These ppl used literally any excuse they could come up with including saying, “he hasn’t earned his stripes” but he did that’s why he was handed the shield. Steve Rodgers’ Capt has been in DCA this entire time as a character interaction & photo op. To me it makes perfect sense to showcase something that is coming as an addition with the new land during the livestream opening of said attraction. IMO nothing in the livestream was an issue - it was the fans in the chats. I’m sorry you were triggered by that, personally I was shocked they didn’t mention Stan Lee at all, but are willing to sell his likeness in their stores. Just to clarify, I adore Steve Rodgers & he is my favorite Capt, but I understand why Disney did what they did in that regard.

I am most excited in trying to find all of the “Hidden Mickey’s” scattered throughout the park. I grew up in the 90’s and 00’s finding every hidden Mickey and haven’t done it since I was there over a decade ago and I am going back at the end of the year and I would love to find all the hidden mickeys when I go and visit Avengers town. I'm most excited to go because I was supposed to go to Disneyland last year with my brother and future sister-in-law to celebrate my 40th birthday in the spring but then everything shut down. I haven't seen either of them in over a year and a half. It's been a rough year, we lost an uncle to covid and I had a breakup. Early 90s in Universal Studios Hollywood, I was about 5 or 6 years old and i saw Spider-Man there just doing these stunts and taking pictures. I was so convinced he was from the actual TV cartoons I kept asking him to shoot webs lol. Needless to say it was the best day ever, now seeing this I hope kids will feel what I felt as a kid.

I am excited for avengers campus, because it's the only place where I can actually experience marvel in person, I had just heard about this yesterday, or at least I heard about it through web slingers: a spiderman adventure, and you do not know how much I love spiderman, I would go here just to see things like the spider man ride, the doctor strange semtum, and the avengers station, and maybe the food, but I can't go because I am in Florida, so yeah This looks like a good place to experience, and things here are so realistic, unlike other videos you guys actually show the entire campus, so thank you for sharing this with us.

It a lockout of the major Marvel characters. They can do Fantastic Four and maybe X-Men. Select Avengers like I think Black Panther, Black Widow, Ant-Man and Wasp, or Dr. Strange. But not major characters like Spider-Man, Wolverine, Hulk, or any of the ones Universal is using in Florida. They can’t even use the name Marvel.

@@rayay9581 F4 and X-Men both have a presence at Islands of Adventure. Storm has a scrambler ride, DOOM has his own drop tower, and the F4 have their own food court. Officially, if Universal isn't using the characters, Disney can. Problem is, what Universal is using is a semi-random grab bag of A and B listers and are wasting a lot of them. Like, they don't have an Iron Man character walking around, but he does have his own gift shop. (There are a lot of random themed gift shops.)
