They railed on Sam as if he was an entirely new addition to the team, or the MCU & he’s not. These ppl used literally any excuse they could come up with including saying, “he hasn’t earned his stripes” but he did that’s why he was handed the shield. Steve Rodgers’ Capt has been in DCA this entire time as a character interaction & photo op. To me it makes perfect sense to showcase something that is coming as an addition with the new land during the livestream opening of said attraction. IMO nothing in the livestream was an issue - it was the fans in the chats. I’m sorry you were triggered by that, personally I was shocked they didn’t mention Stan Lee at all, but are willing to sell his likeness in their stores. Just to clarify, I adore Steve Rodgers & he is my favorite Capt, but I understand why Disney did what they did in that regard.

I’m excited to see everything but mostly (as a single father) of my heroes…my son with downs and his heroic loving big brother, I’m most excited to see my boy’s faces as they will be visiting for the first time one day when I can afford to take them. I am most excited in trying to find all of the “Hidden Mickey’s” scattered throughout the park. I grew up in the 90’s and 00’s finding every hidden Mickey and haven’t done it since I was there over a decade ago and I am going back at the end of the year and I would love to find all the hidden mickeys when I go and visit Avengers town. It a lockout of the major Marvel characters. They can do Fantastic Four and maybe X-Men. Select Avengers like I think Black Panther, Black Widow, Ant-Man and Wasp, or Dr. Strange. But not major characters like Spider-Man, Wolverine, Hulk, or any of the ones Universal is using in Florida. They can’t even use the name Marvel.

@@rayay9581 F4 and X-Men both have a presence at Islands of Adventure. Storm has a scrambler ride, DOOM has his own drop tower, and the F4 have their own food court. Officially, if Universal isn't using the characters, Disney can. Problem is, what Universal is using is a semi-random grab bag of A and B listers and are wasting a lot of them. Like, they don't have an Iron Man character walking around, but he does have his own gift shop. (There are a lot of random themed gift shops.)

This park looks amazing, top quality just like galaxies edge and I want to find all the Easter eggs. I'm most excited to go because I was supposed to go to Disneyland last year with my brother and future sister-in-law to celebrate my 40th birthday in the spring but then everything shut down. I haven't seen either of them in over a year and a half. It's been a rough year, we lost an uncle to covid and I had a breakup. So the idea of finally going back to Disney to see friends, family, and of course, with me being a giant comic nerd, Avengers Campus has kept my spirits up.

Early 90s in Universal Studios Hollywood, I was about 5 or 6 years old and i saw Spider-Man there just doing these stunts and taking pictures.
