It's a "All are the Avengers"-- meaning everyone who can contribute-- that makes this so powerful. IF I could take out one of those suckers with my cane, I would be an Avenger. You, using what you have at your disposal, take out one of them-- you are an Avenger. at some point the idea of good stretches. i for one think that playing with the time travel idea pushes the heroes into gray area. i will be dissapointed if this decision to alter past doesnt come to haunt them. in terms of storytelling the only thing that happened was that the deaths were reversed. first spidey, scarlet witch etc died but now the deaths are tony, basically cap etc. the 3 billion dusted civilians were just a word

I'm guessing the moment everyone came back to life, Strange immediately just let everyone know how much time has passed and that no matter what was on their agenda, no time to answer questions or catch up, this is an absolute emergency, everyone gather the fuck up. Most likely also informed Wong as Wong and most likely possible other sorcerers of Earth were key players to have made the portals moment possible. A quick pass through the portals and be like "Listen idk you, you don't know me but who the fuck cares. The universe needs every single one of us, bring as many as you can, all you gotta do is show up when we pull up another larger portal. I love this scene, there's just one thing that surprises me about how they did it. In my imagination, Cap was standing there, fighting despair, ready to slug it out with Thanos some more, knowing that he was probably about to die and going to do it anyway. And then hearing a crackle of static and Sam's voice, and then realizing that there might be hope, but he doesn't know yet who's coming, or if they would even get there in time, and in a desperate call for help in the middle of battle, to tell them they had to get there NOW, bellowing out, "AVENGERS! ASSEMBLE!" And THEN the portals start opening.
