Honestly pretty fucking funny. You finally get Reed Richards in the MCU, played by the guy fans had been casting for years, and immediately dies in a brutal way. Same thing for Xavier, it looks like just fan-service and yet it throws that out of the window in a few seconds.

Honestly, Id much rather have Captain Marvel go inside the ship and fight. Maybe go to its engine or something, and blow that up. Not just ram through it. I feel like it would have had more of an exciting impact on the ship blowing up.

I watched this in theaters in 2011. As an 18-year-old, Chris Hemsworth’s performance as Thor felt so truly genuine. Even though it’s a long shot, the fact that Thor learned how to be selfless and risk his life meant so much to me. Then, to see him be chosen to rise up again as a real god… man. What a film.

Its funny how many think this is peak MCU........................ lol no lol Tony Stark admitting he is Iron Man trumps this moment alone. but seriously just about anything with iron man is 1000 times better. or my personal favorite when he rediscovers what his father had and does what no one else on the planet can synthesizes a new fucking element.......................... that is leaps and bounds cooler and intense that two guys that run fast into battle.
