Would that have been the death of Thanos, if not for "rain fire"? Thanos took her life, in his killing half of the world's populace. Is that the "everything" he took? Thanos stops in his tracks as she intercepts him on his way to seize the glove. It was just one human woman--easily dispatched by Thanos. Interesting confrontation--no other character did as much damage to Thanos as Wanda Maximoff. His armor is breaking off. What else would've happened to Thanos if her hex (counter)attack would've continued? No glove with rings on it--just her own power. Without Thanos, there's be no reason for his forces to continue attacking--mutual assured destruction, maybe but 🌎 Earth would be safe. "What if" the Scarlet Witch had killed Thanos? Why didn't order his minion to attack Maximoff while she focused on him, rather than inundating the entire battlefield, & kill his own? A mystery, wrapped in an enigma, wrapped in a puzzle box.
