I think that the two many jokes is a miss. the jokes aren't jokes as much as they are how everyone else has learned to eventually become cynical or pessimistic and sarcastic during the five years which is why the random humor was always there to mask the pain. This was a part of the grief that was global

@@onlymoviesilike it was kind of supposed to be that way because we all felt the pain of infinity war. You're literally feeling the way they are even when they try to cheer each other up. It doesn't get better than that. a film that has you feeling exactly as the people in it at the same time because you went through the same thing. Dude that's groundbreaking writing and mind-bending Cinema. That is film. The event was special. Like Wizard of Oz. Or Snow White. Those were MASSIVE back then. Endgame is #1 All-time.... All-time... Think about it.

@@onlymoviesilike if you reverse his personality from infinity war II end gamehe only became righteous after he collected the power Stone. Who you met on Earth in in game is actually Thanos. Covered in blood and only offering death. the whole half thing was just an impression from him killing half the people on planets just to consume half their resources. He said he had it when he offered it to his people.

In other words he was traumatized he really thought he was right and the reality was that he wasn't because the same formula doesn't apply to everyand that's how he was able to tell gamora like he believed it. Because he had to lie to himself but he didn't know. Kimora new he didn't know because he wasn't psychic because her planet was happy and he had to insist it was on the brink. As he puts it.

Because he sees someone that has multiple possibilities and can't comprehend. Thanos once again lies to himself and at Tony, although Tony doesn't know it, because the LIE is that Thanos is an equal to Tony... Cerebrally... Which it wasn't... And that was proven with Endgame. As Thanos realized all he had to do was follow Tony who he had not heard of yet... You saw Thanos, at his base level... A total brute bully. Even younger and more bloodthirsty as he admits that he doesn't need the plan of half and discards it for shrinking down the universe to start all over again. He was never righteous handing out Mercy

How did you get footage to make video essays?

I usually just download the footage from KZbin using a 3rd party downloader. But sometimes if it's like my La La Land video essay I'll just rip the whole movie from the DVD I own and just use that.

@@sagecapra6442 It relies on too much of past chapters, I know sequels do this a lot but endgame really just there to give the fans what they want, not as much to create a clean-cut perfectly paced movie.

look anyone that enjoyed infinity war is awesome but the whole point of it was the loss of heroes. And how people take it. So imagine when I see a bunch of dudes cuz it's mainly who think they're related to Thanos which is hilarious and don't and don't see the loss of all the heroes. This is the opposite of rallying to leadership and instead become part of the amalgam since it's just a given that he starts with the power Stone. Not even Thanos started with the power Stone in his mind so he would see it as a privileged and irrelevant idea as considering what it amounts to what he wants to do. If you wonder why it's because he had to wages galactic conflictand one after another to eventually get the needed materials and the known information just start not to mention whatever the universal landscape look like. Another thing is have you ever thought that Thanos was lying? About what happened to his planet? the only time you know that he doesn't lie is when nebula says so in endgame and that's because it's his daughter. He never lied to her. But do you think he didn't lie?

Dude where are your video essays? This is really good! I do however think that Thanos is against lying, but that's just me. He said to Gamora about he never taught her to lie which is why she's so bad at it and then of course as you pointed out in endgame which I think is their way of telling the audience that Thanos doesn't lie. Because it wouldn't really make sense for them to all go around in a circle saying that Thanos is a liar just so we would know for sure. That's just me tho
