Well, you have to understand that secretinvasionwas comprised of different smaller events Remember how it was basically a cross over event but nick fury was mostly absent the entire thing until he popped up with his secret warriors? I think the angle they are taking is based off of what nick fury was doing behindthe scenes all covert spy type stuff. It's an easier way to show secret invasion without all of the bigger charactera.

You know what my first introduction to this event? Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes, I love every moment, twist and reveal of that arc especially the super skrulls and their designs. It's a really good adaptation that kind of makes it better than the original just a tiny bit.

The registration wasn't about accountability...it was about identification of ALL heroes (powered or not)....Cap saw this as a liability as the the registry could possible be used against them by villains (ex: Secret identity, home address, etc.) he doesn't want innocent people hurt because villains can google there location pretty much.

I think it doesn't matter if a hero is powered or not. If heroes are acting basically like cops or firefighters, just like in real life, they'd need to be held accountable for the mistakes they make. If they are ennacting justice, then justice needs to apply to them personally in case things go wrong. Hiding their identity is like preventing a cop that unjustly kills an innocent person from ever facing consequences for their incompetence or (prejudice even). Villains might invade the system that keeps the heroes' identities registered to attack them personally, but if that's a possible price to pay for accountability of people ennacting justice with powers or not, then hey, if it isn't for you, don't join do the hero stuff.

Captain America didn’t resist the Registration Act because he didn’t want to held accountable; he resisted the Act because, as written, it required that you serve in The Initiative; there was no, “I registered, now I’m going home” option; if you had powers you were conscripted, forced into hero training, and could be assigned anywhere in the US, without regard to one’s personal preference, without appeal, for an undescribed, indefinite length of time; there were also nothing in the Act that codified how people’s identities were going to be protected; So you had a law that said if you had super-powers (an event that happens frequently and randomly in the MU) you are now under the control of the US GOV; you HAVE to be a superhero; all of which is unconstitutional for a lot of reasons, but mainly because there was no ‘opt in’ for people effected; I’m sure Rob believes the way he described the Act to be what it said; Marvel did not insure that writers were consistent in describing the law across all titles, they especially did not fact check statements made by heroes who were pro-registration…

The way this whole war goes, this should of been implemented after the snap. Mcu picks up wit life on the regular on the surface when in all reality, it's the set up to secret invasion. Which would allow some of the shows to be weird on the strength that they're really skrulls tryin to fit into the superheroes designed to portray. in regards to super heroes existing to serve a purpose, arguably it depends on how you view the status quo, but far as i know in more recent years some heroes are written to where they are trying to make the world a better place and either failing for one reason or another, or making slow progress.

Just combining a teaspoon of anti matter and a teaspoon matter particle together could run LA for at least a few hours if not days. In AoS Quake's powers were not exactly nerfed they just made higher limits damaging to her body and had a whole arc about her getting gauntlets that protected her from some of the damage. In the show her future self had reached full power and destroyed the world by cracking it in half. So not nerfed, just hadn't reached the power levels she would have later.
