Rob this was Perfectly placed together. I started out collecting comics in 1975, stopping in 2005. I just got burnt out on EVERYTHING X- men and all of the tie ins. I've been intrigued with EVERYTHING Johnathan Hickman. Thanks for the template of understanding what all is going on in Secret War's II.

@@kinnymane8593 considering that Dr Doom has been beaten on multiple occasions by Reed Richards even inside his armor, you can miss me with any plausible scenario in which Dr. Doom defeats one of the top martial arts masters in the Marvel universe. Just because Doom is one of my all-time favorite characters in any comics universe, hero or villain, that doesn't mean that he gets a pass in terms of lazy-assed writers making him able to defeat anyone he wants.

Now that they have confirmed "Avengers Secret Wars" coming out in phase 6 of the MCU, i couldnt be more hyped. hoping they go with this version of the comics, The Imax theatre is gonna go nuts, its gonna make End Game look like a little teaser in comparison. Finanically tho i have no idea how its gonna work, its gonna be the most expenssive movie ever made with the Cast thats gonna be needed. But we have confirmation of X-men in the MCU now, fantastic four etc. i couldnt be more hyped tbh, having to wait until like 2026 HURTS tho :/ the theatre experience alone is gonna be Astronomically epic. Hopefully its possible to Make this story justice tho, just logistically. and or if they gonna bring bits from the different Secret wars stories and make it their own like they have in previous titles, and obviously it cant be a Secret wars movie without Battle World. cant wait.

Wow. Just wow. I own a trade of this and left it on the east coast when i moved to Phx, and appreciate this whole recap, I’d only read a handful of Battleworld books. Makes me wonder What If: What If Jonathan Hickman had been given his dues at Marvel and made CCO, and then as writer/orchestrator of CW2 made everything from 2015-2017 Marvel be muuuuch better than that awful Bendis CW2/Spencer SE story we ended up with. 2018-2019 Marvel could’ve been a much more interesting place. Wish the 616 was never “reformed”. A new single Marvel-verse concept should’ve been birthed from the collapse of the Multiverse & Battleworld.

So assuming this is the way the MCU is going, and it is, cause they're setting up the multiverse, rebooting the X Men and F4, are we gonna follow this story except replace Black Panther with someone else since Panther isn't getting recast, that's been confirmed, then basically just end the MCU with the end of the Secret Wars arc? Feels like a full, complete ending tbh since you're dealing with an entirely new multiverse like sure you can have new stories and stuff but idk I feel like it would be a fitting way for Marvel to step away and let someone else dominate the movie industry for a while, maybe just do one off stories, not huge sagas anymore, that could be cool once we get the Secret Wars finale, just would feel like complete, a rounded, fully explained ending to it all
