well, even with the scene we got it doesn't change the fact that he was probably still exactly like this. In the scene in Knowhere when he takes her, you can see it. He grabbed her forcefully and she obviously felt pain, and then proceeded to make her think she was going to die by insisting that Quill shoot her, only to take that away from her last minute. In a gag reel you see a snippet of what seems another deleted scene where he's holding her by the neck. It wouldn't surprise me if he actually did that canonically and not just in the deleted scenes, but since they wanted to portray more of his loving side, that's why they cut it out. But I'm sure he was still just like this to her :(

And I thought I never would." 😢 That dialogue is so emotional and unbelievably true💔, for a mysterious character who became a villain after watching something that is normal and beautiful that began to took away from him and left him with despair and rage😭. And let's be honest, any of us can feel the same thing. That scene should've be part of this movie, so we could understand further about Thanos and his whole story of pain and loss before and after the devastation of his homeworld Titan. We are not allowed to judge characters so eagerly before we begin understand which characters who deserves a second for the leaving with respect and faith. To the bottom of my heart that glows with conscience and compassion, Thanos is the kind of a hero we ever need so far. He is far more emotional than Darkseid, incredibly aware than the Avengers, serves what is just for the universe like the Justice League, well a little bit similar frankly. A being who lost his homeworld and everything he adores and admires but gives the strength and will to give the rest of the universe a chance to not make that past mistake again. Especially living the rest of his years as an abused child that forces him to live with the trauma inside his head, like what Ernst Stavro Blofeld did to James Bond with the creepiest words 'A man inside his head'. So, who is the true merciless villain after all?

Much of the MCU crew carries lots of baggage & trauma, but Gamora, I truly believe, carries the heaviest load.
