At first I was upset that this Gamora doesn’t feel the same for Peter. But at the same time, I get it. They’re not capability. He’s way ahead emotionally and she doesn’t even know him. It cant really work cause they’ll never be on the same page. He’s just a stranger to her now sadly. And he needs to grieve for the Gamora he knew cause she is gone

When Gamora was walking around the ship on her own and found the picture of Peter's grandpa, I thought she would find pictures or footage of her other self. Seeing how happy she was with Peter. How they were in love. Not saying that this version of Gamora should be with Peter. But she would understand what she was like. She would understand how much she truly meant to Peter. Even though Gamora is fine with who she is, she would also like who she was originally meant to be.

Funny, Gamora was originally meant to die in Vol. 2 but was spared from the wrath by James Gunn story plan and then killed off either way by Russo brothers in the Infinity War storyline and brought back through Time travel for the third chapter of the Gunn trilogy.

There's one thing tho. Original Gamora was able to get along with Peter and everyone else just fine and quite in a short time too. This one yells and irritates a lot. I mean they are technically the same, the difference in them would be like how much? 1-2 Years maybe? That's not much time for drastic change in personality

In the first movie, Gamora personally witnessed how Peter outsmarted Ronan by distracting him with the dance off fake out, followed by her witnessing him being willing to sacrifice his life to keep Ronan from getting the Power Stone. In that timeline, she got to know a Quill who was goofy, but brave and selfless and it triggered something in her that made her want to be the same way, which we can see by her offering her hand to Peter while the stone was tearing him apart. I believe that's the moment that original Gamora turned all the way around and fell in love with Peter and saw the crew as her family. This Gamora didn't have that pivotal moment. All she has is a lot of confusing and contradictory information and a crew of people she's never met and doesn't know who keep treating her like she's a person they were very close to. Barring Nebula (and even that is hard to swallow, since this version of Nebula is vastly different from the one this Gamora would know), she doesn't know them and hasn't been given any opportunities to get to trust them, unlike the original. Same person, but vastly different journeys. People can become someone else entirely based on a single event in their life that profoundly affected and changed them, for better or worse. There are a lot of stories about that out there. This one has a sci-fi twist to it, but is essentially one of those stories.

@@Xylarxcode excellent breakdown its baffling to see peoples reaction to this gamora, when i saw this movie for the first time a week ago i was so fucking annoyed with quill saying she "doesnt remember" and forcing their relationship and treating her the way he did throughout the movie instead of respecting the fact that this is NOT the gamora he knew. it's bizarre seeing people online even suggest dr strange "restore" her memories? she didn't forget anything, it has nothing to do with memory, those events DID NOT HAPPEN for this gamora and it's so weird how little people seem to understand or respect that. i understand if quill and the rest just reached out to her and stayed friendly, but the constant attempts at forcing a relationship and the awfully condescending claims that she "doesnt remember" anything is weird and gross and i honestly dont feel bad for quill at all with the way he kept getting on her throughout this movie.

I think they will get back together but the relationship will be different. The previous Gamora was somewhat kinda a mother figure as well for Peter helping to guide him in a lot of situations. This Gamora is kinda like a bestfriend who acts like a dirtbag to you but would secretly do anything for you and I think that's good for Quill cause it helps him with his attachment issues

Gamora v1 is sacrificed by Thanos to get Soul Stone. In ending, all infinity stone is destroyed from original universe. So all Avengers create time machine to 'borrow' inifinity stone from past. While thay happened, our Nebula v1 is captured by Nebula v2 and bring Thanos from past. All Thanos mecrenaries include Gamora v2 is go to this timeline. ⁴£TT ⁴

Yeah. Hated Ravager Gamora in GOTG Vol 3. Gunn should have just had the original Gamora brought back from the dead. Or a version from another universe where she is the only one of the Guardians left, the others killed by Thanos, with Thor dying as well and enraged Gamora got hold of Storm breaker in that universe and killed Thanos.
