I kinda wish you guys covered more than the DCAU. Your videos are so slick, professional, and well-researched that you deserve a larger audience, but I also like that your channel is small enough for you to maintain a personal relationship with your viewers, and broadening your tent would remove that. One the things I love about your videos, like this one, is that you have a clear love for the original source material, like Kirby, and aren't just another Millennial comic channel featuring alt-right fedoralords unironically praising Liefeld's spiky 90s Dork Age aesthetic.

@laz kar, contrarian? You are the moron who consistently trashes DC characters and who said on numerous occasions that comic books are trash. I'm not even talking about that time when Linkara embarrassed you before everyone, when you wanted to be a contrarian so hard, you made fun of some poor guy who was complaining about Linkara's unfunny drunk impression of Tony Stark because his own father died of alcoholism. You can't bully me, idiot. I'm above you on every level. And yes, idiot, my point is not contrary. I'm stating a fact. There were some visual cues, especially in "Batman Beyond" where they didn't try to hide the fact that the show was essentially Spider-man crossed with Batman. They recreated the cover to Amazing Fantasy #15 (first appearance of Spider-man) with a shot of teen Batman swinging on a line with a guy tucked under his arm (I *think* it was in the episode with the FF characters, but I may be misremembering), and they also had Terry stuck under the exact same shaped rubble as in the classic Spider-man comic sequence (a scene that was adapted in "Spider-man Homecoming"). Additionally, I remember a top secret spy base in a Justice League episode that was located under a barber shop which you had to sit in a chair to access... that's from classic Nick Fury issues. Beyond that, a lot of Martian Manhunter's intangibility moves in the show were staples of the Vision rather than things the comic Manhunter had done much.

Then there is the New Batman Adventures episode The Cult of the Cat, where Batman and Catwoman end up confronting a cat-worshipping cult whose members wear a costume that resembles Black Panther, with claws resembling Wolverine. Also Bullwhip from the April Moon Gang is based on Omega Red, who has similar tentacles coming out of his hands.
