Never understood why they put nutt busters on "mens" bikes.

I've got just about 100 miles on my Sinch ST (mostly on hard packed dirt trails) and I've been really impressed with it so far. You can pair the screen with a phone app and alter the speed limiter for the bike. However even when turned all the way up, it really only gets to 24-25 MPH and at the top end I tend to end up ghost pedaling. Increasing the top speed does seem to also increase the assist of the lower PAS levels though, which can make the lower levels more interesting to use.
@streetweenie98152 жыл бұрын
I’ve done the same with mine. Definitely recommend increasing the top speed to get a bit more out of the bike when needed

Seems like the handlebars are a long reach for a person under 5"2". I like handlebars that curve toward the rider, so I can cruise upright. I think having to stretch to hold onto those handlebars would kill my back having to ride bent over.

I wish reviews of folding bikes would show how it fits inside different cars. I can't put a hitch/rack on my Mini Cooper S and I'd like to know if it would fit folded at the back (with the seats down).
@MeMe-cd1wy Жыл бұрын
It does not fit well in Subaru outback without laying on it’s side and this tends to bend things on bike. I bought it because it was folding bike, buy not only does it not fit well, it is entirely too heavy and large for someone 5’. I have had one accident on it already because at slow speeds the handle bars are too far out and the front end is too heavy to control. The reach goes away from the rider for some reason.

A bungee cord on your rack would be a no brainer for carrying stuff and to use for securing a folded E Bike. Not an issue. 👍

Aside from the folding function. Would this or the radrunner 2 be the better option?
@ElectricBikeReport2 жыл бұрын
We like both bikes a lot. Not sure there is a wrong choice between the two. If folding matters, go for it. If customizing it to fit a need matters, maybe the Runner 2 is a better bet.

@@ElectricBikeReport what’s the folding bike shortlist? 😃
@NorthcoastPatty2 жыл бұрын
@@ElectricBikeReport I have the RadRunner 2, and it takes the bumps really hard. I haven't yet found the perfect seat. Being short seats with springs hit the rack rods on the back causing the seat to twist. I'm still seeking a solution. I'm old and out of shape with a bad knee; my back side is awful sore from riding. I'll be trying out the Buckaroo seat next.

Just don’t fold it. It’s easer to deal with in one piece . I have a owned folding bikes, and they are a cumbersome to carry and move around folded up.

Compared to the pace 500 next gen video, I wonder how this one went up the hill no problem even with the same 500W motor. maybe because of the smaller wheels and potentially require less torque?
@BeKindToAll032 жыл бұрын
Good question. I was wondering the same thing
@coreykirby1632 Жыл бұрын
That’s exactly the reason smaller tires have way more torque then bigger tires however, smaller tires don’t go as fast as bigger tires, which is why the pace 500 has a higher end top speed
@coreykirby1632 Жыл бұрын
Which is why if you want to have the same torque equivalent on bigger tires you need a more powerful, stronger motor to give the same affect essentially

This ebike is too heavy to be a folding bike. And folded up, it does not fit even in back if subaru outback. The specs say it is good for someone 5’. Forget it, it is entirely too large and heavy for someone that size. The Sinch from 2 years ago weighed 75lbs. It might be fine for someone 5’6” or taller and not planning on folding it for carrying in a small suv.
@TheGreatWasian_ Жыл бұрын

@PumpUptheJam812 жыл бұрын
It’s just a folding bike. And the smaller diameter tires yield more of a mechanical advantage. If you need more power, you may need to hit the gym more often.

I have firsthand experience with this bike and several others like it on the market and I have to say the only things it has going for it are largely superficial. It's an awful value for the price that feels 2-3 years too late to the game. No offense EBR. Surprisingly there is a market for this bike despite its class 2 status. It's mostly people who don't know any better, they're turned off by class 3 speeds, or a combination of both.
