As a scout main who plays scout in Highlander and 6s I can confirm that the brass beast is surprisingly good in both game modes. It’s a lot less common than tomislav or stock, but it’s still the third option and is considered to be a good strategy in last holds in 6s. And in Highlander brass beast flanks have actually happened where a heavy will kill half the enemy team and somehow not die.

I wonder, where you played highlander? I played on TF2Center about a year ago or so, and i played a lot of brass beast heavy there, my name was Engineer TF2. Just f2p looking brass beast heavy with a shotgun and fists of steel almost top scoring in highlander lmao, it's surprisingly good. I literally won an 1 v 2 with enemy heavy med duo alone, 300 vs 450 hp, while i revved up slightly later than him, and i got 20 hp left.
