Seiko mini-turtle all the way. This is the most underrated Seiko currently made. It’s such a great piece showcasing Seiko’s design and case finishing prowess. Also it’s such a great, wearable size; especially for those with smaller wrists. Great video on 3 amazingly value packed watches.

Great comparison. I go for the citizen overall bang for buck value, plus I'm wearing it right now and can vouch for its quality!

Nice comparison of the models! My personal pick is the Orient Kamasu. I own the blue dial version and enjoy wearing it.

The more I see that Citizen, the more I love it. I'm moving some more expensive watches and buying it I think.

I just got that exact Citizen. They’re now finally putting out models mimicking their past divers. I say, for the cost (I got mine from Japan for $267USD), they’re too cool

This is a very good comparison video. All of these three watches are interesting, and i own the Kamasu myself. ♥

I have both the Kamasu and the Mini Turtle and I feel like the Kamasu wears much smaller, closer to a 40mm maybe even a 39. The Mini Turtle on the other hand has a lot more presence due to the bezel. It feels more like a 42-43 even with the short lug to lug which just makes it fit more wrists. If you have a smaller wrist and want to go for a watch that will be more compact and less bulky I’d go for the Kamasu.

Seiko-holic here so I'm going with the Seiko. I have baby Turtle and Orient Kamasu. I'm getting my first automatic Citizen watch nb1050-59e, but Seiko all the way for me.

I would go with the Seiko but with the mark 1 black because I could not live with that red seconds hand.

Pls do us the favour and put them on a timegrapher. I bet on the Citizen to be the most accurate. Nice vid.

Orient Kamasu for sure…..

Citizen has been borrowing Rolexes hand design for 50 years. Does that make it ok? Somehow it kinda does.

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of "entry level" divers on the market. Most have similar specs; NH35A movement, sapphire crystal, screw down crown and case back, some sort of lume and at least 200m water resistance. Comparing watches in this category is futile.

What set these choices apart are their level of inhouse construction combined with heritage within the dive watch space, as well as having original brand design aesthetics.
@ramspencer54923 жыл бұрын
Nope. Used... None of these are collectables... So I'll take better specs in a bang for buck microbrand, at these price points. Rather than cripple the watches specs just to have a bigger name on the dial.
