So sorry about your friend. This house is really nice and that open spot across from the washer and dryer would be great for a stand up freezer. We're deer hunters and eaters so a large freezer would be necessary. You two did a great job this video. Thank you for yanking us along🤗

I am so sorry about Hobo. I saw a news report from TN on Sunday, sadly, not looking good at all. My heart breaks for his family. That open space has tons of potential. Being that it is across from the laundry I think I would make that space a multi purpose area, maybe have a fold out table, where I could fold laundry and use it as a little office.

how much would the up charge be for a stove that is either electric or would that looks like the old woodstoves that the amish or mennonites would typically use.

I’m not sure that Avery does that but you can contact them and ask. It may be something that you would want a stove company to install.

What kind of hogwash is charging the price of the dealer??? Plus $300 for each room?? Looks like a nice home. Great countertop in the kitchen for prep space. Bedroom and closets are too tiny.

The manufacturer has sales agreements with dealers to not undercut prices in their territories. It’s common practice and respects the dealers’ capability to extend the manufacturer’s territory. If he undercuts their prices there would be no reason for the dealer to continue to sell his homes. They are cabins and come with pine wood. Paint costs about $60 a gallon and based on our current renovations I’d assume the home takes about $750 in paint and stain, not to mention the labor. Average is about $1500 for painting.
