I'm sorry but I didn't think the new keeper was particularly good with any of their goals. OK the defence was as porous as an old sponge which doesn't help him but he should have stopped the first and was out of position for the third.

it was swanseas first team against villa fringe players. well mostly, with 7 changes. swanseas players have been playing together all season which made a big difference.. dont forget we beat these lot home and away in the league.. and id rather the 6 points than a useless cup run that we have no chance of winning

Tbf we (swansea) haven't been playing together all season at all there's been 5 6 or evn 7 changes some weeks it's been a soure of frustration for us. He named an 11 that played together once this season. Rutledge and dyer only just got back in team Leroy fer just got back from injury baker Richardson is an u23 regular has only played a couple this season. Your way off saying that

Most embarrassing game I've ever watched. Hutton wasn't good enough, Taylor was terrible, Bree couldn't cross, Adomah and El Ghazi were lazy and poor. Elphic was the only good defender in the back line. Hogan on Kodja didn't have the service. Whelan as usual was pathetic. I felt bad for lansbury Mcginn and O'Hare because they were the only players who played well. Lansbury and O'Hare need a run in the first team because Whelan isn't good enough. We need some new wide players because none of ours are playing well at the moment. 3 right backs and none of them deserve a place in the first team.

Whelan, McGinn and Elphick were the only ones with some passion and were at least trying to play football. Whelan tired himself out trying to do everything for the team, he was pressing their defenders which should've been Hogan's job. Whelan was very good defensively which is his job. All the goals were from Taylor's side, and poor marking and positioning from both Kalinic and Hutton. A midfield of Whelan, McGinn and Lansbury would suit very well in Jack's absence.

The defence looked shit. Elphick already looks bad & only just back in a Villa shirt. Bree is a snail & always out of position when under pressure. Starting to doubt he'll ever be any good. Kalinic's first game, so didn't expect perfection, especially with a useless defence. O'Hare looks promising & prefer him to Adomah or Bolassie because he fights for possession like McGinn does. We should bring back Green & look to buy Maupay. An entire new back four would be a wise choice too...

Let's say that Swansea were just more of a settled team on the day so fair play to them. We need the under 23s to Step up to the plate when re-enforcments are needed in first team. Most of the lads are knackered and carrying niggles. We're still on the up overall. Old saying 'a team is a team' not individuals in a group..

It was f**king terrible . I was at the upper holt . It was a shit game and it was so humiliating . By far worst performance of the season . Also the grounds atmosphere was horrible and the Villa fans hardly sung . It was a shocker for our defence as usual . But the keeper needs a chance ??? UP THE VILLA

I thought JT was brought in to coach our defenders? They were lazy and sloppy, and seemed content to just watch the ball. Defending is relatively easy, most of the time you just pick up the spare man and stay goal side of him, and keep him in the corner of your eye at all times - Come on Terry earn your money!
