If I need an actual field watch and I’m not defaulting to a gshock but require a mechanical watch, Boldr is the only watch company!!!! All other options are either lacking in a major way or are way overpriced (I’m looking at you Marathon).

The fact Boldr offers double the water resistance than the competition coupled with a screw down crown makes them a top contender.

Yeah, I picked up with one of these recently. Local used purchase. Ridiculous value! I really like the dimensions. I definitely prefer slightly smaller watches. I'm mostly a 36mm to 40mm guy and this one is great. Mine was super accurate and usually measures +1 or +2 per day with the dial up. The lume is definitely decent, but I wish there were a couple more layers. It's definitely in the lower price range compared to most of my watches but this one is definitely in the rotation. Probably the best value field watch I've bought in the last couple years. The more recent version of the Berny Titanium field watch with the new mecaquartz is a bit thinner but isn't automatic and I realize not everyone likes quartz watches. The Berny has become my 'leave it at work on the off chance I forget to wear a watch' watch. Those two are the cheapest watches I've bought recently that are in full rotation. The Boderry Bertucci-esque watch is also pretty nice for what it is, but it's definitely a bit more bulky. It's just crazy how much watch you can buy for so little $$$ these days!

Cool .I just had some weed delivererd so had the scales out .My Citizen eco drive field watch was 56.5 g which I thought was pretty good too .Boldr is a nice watch but the missing e might annoy me lol

Thickness, the achilles heel of NH/4R movements. People don’t know what they’re missing until they wear a watch that’s 10mm thick or under. But you’re paying for a Swiss movement if you want that spec. Plenty of quartz movements of varying quality will get you there as well.

I really like boldr watches, well made! I do think they are a tad bit overpriced, however, they are selling so good on HY the owner he has distinguished the brand as solid well made pieces so he can sell them at a premium price. Great review as always, and that thing is light as a feather wow

I don't understand why anyone would buy watch with a NH35 movement for over 300$ I'm seeing RZE watches for $500 up with NH38 movements. I have the SWC bunker, its swiss made, spec'd to the balls and has a SW200 that's regulated in house. I'm -2 seconds a day. I lose 20 seconds a day with my Seiko king turtle.

I, too, own the SWC Bunker. It is also titanium with dual sided AR coating and BGW9 lume. It’s an awesome offering from SWC for sure.
