Aviary Update: Moulting Gouldians

The easiest way to monitor the aviary without disturbing the birds is doing so remotely via webcam or video recordings.
A few weeks since acquiring new stocks of finches, I am happy to see them at home with their new environment. The young goulds are starting to moult into their adult colors. Noticeable are the changes in feather appearances in some of the Yellow Bodied juveniles, some showing discolorations in some parts.
Soft food is served on a regular basis. At least once a week, powdered vitamins are sprinkled over the food. I prefer this method rather than adding it on water. Water bins gets soiled quite fast and I just have no time to change water everyday.
