Hello sir my names Tristan I have been wanting to be a pilot for as long as I can remember and general tips about the industry . Should I go to college or flight school first or just go to college which my nearest college (Asu) has the ATP flight program. I was thinking college first for now because covid has slowed down the industry I would think the better option is just to do my college years now. I would love some input about anything thank you .

What model David Clark headset do you use/recommend for a starting pilot? Thank you!

I use an old David Clark H10-30. Its 40 years old and still works great. I use a Bose headset in the 777 that I love because of the noise cancelling. You can find great deals online for an older set of David Clarks which would be great for a new student.

Captain Scott I’m about to finish up college right now and am trying to decide if I should go into aviation or pursue a career in business. What would you recommend considering the current job market?

If your an airplane junky you won't be happy sitting in an office building knowing you could be blasting around the globe in a 777. The airline industry will bounce back like it always does so I think it's a safe bet to do the airline thing. But, I'm an airplane junky so take it for what it's worth.
