The Year 2022 nearly comes to an end, this is our second video with our planespotting highlights. Again we want to say thank you so much for your support, really really appreciate it! With this video, we want to rewind our planespotting highlights of the year 2022.
Flying with Aviation PhotoCrew:
One of our favorites this year was the AIRPOWER 2022 meet-up with the Aviationphotocrew.
The Aviationphotocrew offers a lot of projects around Europe for special Air to Air photo- and videoflights in many different projects. Operating the Skyvan, it is possible to have a view of many different angles and possibilities for Air to Air spotting.

F-4E-2000 Phantom II Terminator - Special Liveries:
We got two special liveries of the Turkish Air Force:
73-1023 with the "Tribute to old Phantom fighters" Livery and
73-1023 with the "60 years of F-4 Phantom" Livery
F-16 NATO Tiger Livery:
As part of the NATO tiger force we also got the F-16C NATO Tiger Livery (92-0014)
Columbia Air Force:
In Zurich we got the Columbia Air Force 737-74V BBJ (FAC0001) - a really rare catch.

Seeing these F4 Phantoms in excellent condition flying in demonstrations makes me sad to know that, due to an idiotic decision by authorities at the time, they destroyed the most beautiful fighters in history. The fabulous F14 Tom Cats. We could be enjoying demonstrations of the F14 today that would surely be a huge success.

As a civilian I used to help deliver the Phantom Nose Radar assembly to RAF bases in the U.K. and Germany. It was quite a job mounting it onto the A Frame and loading into its special container for transport. I used to get right by the flight line on that job.

We could not retire the F4s because they did not give us (Turkiye) F 35s. We are building our own 5th generation aircraft. We will continue to use F4s until our 5th generation aircraft is ready. My favorite plane F4. By the way, I would like to say that an F4 of ours managed to hunt down the F14 twice during the NATO exercise in the 80s.

@@tolgacosgun don't underestimate these old girls they are very well maintained and in very capable fighter pilots of the Turkish Air Force. She's my #1 favorite aircraft.

Turkish F-4E Phantoms are gorgeous!! I remember seeing USAF Phantoms from the 3TFW at Clark AB and those flying TDY via CCK Airbase in Taichung, Taiwan after their bombing runs over North Vietnam.

Man, it is so exciting to see my country's Fuerza Aérea Colombiana in one of your videos! It is the first time, I think, although I have seen some Colombian LATAM planes and also several Avianca.
