Q: When did I start collecting?
A: August 2012 (over 11 years ago)
Q: What scale do you collect?
A: Mainly 1/400 scale, but also a few 1/200 models.
Q: How much is your collection worth?
A: How much I have spent on my collection is a different question to how much it's worth as a lot of these models appreciate in value over time. I don't know how much I've spent exactly but the average price of a model is £40, so if I have 400 models in my collection, we can simply times 40 by 400 which is £16,000, equivalent to around $20,000 USD. The average price for a lot of these models now, is around £60 to £80, so if I were to sell them, it's likely that my entire collection is worth upwards of £28,000, equivalent to around $34,000 USD. However this could easily be higher or lower and is a very rough estimate.

28:03 That Tu-154 is a Chosonminhang (조선민항, Korean Airways) aircraft. Chosonminhang was renamed as Air Koryo (고려항공) in 1992 and P-561 became an Air Koryo aircraft after that. Anyways, what an impressive collection of aircraft models!

As a fellow collector this is an incredible collection and top set up. With having the Russian 1/200 bombers have you considered adding some US bombers to your collection? I have the Herpa 1/200 B52s, B1s and B2s and they are really good and I do recommend them 👍🏻

Man, I can never even find regular planes, everyone hogs them up and buys 30. Your lucky you can find any normal southwest or Alaskan planes. Mostly 737s. I want to find them so I can make rdu. I only have a few passenger planes that go there, and only 1 is a normal livery because that’s all I can find.
