Is bms worth it? Considering dcs modules cost up to 70 bucks and you need a real good pc to play it whereas bms is a sim you can just read a single manual and get going, and has a campaign engine that will keep you busy till the afterlife whereas dcs depends solely on player created content; i'd say yes it's worth it.

Been playing BMS since inception, and even though I play DCS and and other sims, I am always drawn back to Falcon BMS. It is very immersive.

I have owned falcon4.0 from the start, and have 2discs and bought from steam. I have purchased all the huge (collage book looking) manuals when they came out long ago. I hope one day I can spend the time I need to, so I can be proficient at it. Thank you BMS for making Falcon4.0 such a great sim. Micropose bought the copy rights back, so I'm hoping we will see even more improvements coming soon.

Iv been flying the DCS version of the viper for 3 years now. Just down loaded 4.37 about a week and a half ago and i will not go back to dcs. Everything from the flight model to the systems is impressive and it all just works and that is a breath of fresh air. I still havent gotten into the dynamic campaign yet. The training mission have made me realise that their is still alot to learn. BMS is like having a lockheed martin simulator down loaded onto your computer like somebody eles said in the comments. If the F16 is your bird of choice then you absolutely need to go with BMS. If you care about muh GrApHiCs, then play dcs.

I have had Falcon 4.0 when it was released in the late 90's, also had the Allied Force and saw the transition with community dev on FF and BMS. This have been by fav military flight sim ever. Played many other combat flight sims but Falcon still holds my favourite sim title. With BMS mod, it is becoming better and better everyday.

I think this is a very fair video that needed to be made. I love BMS and have been flying this SIM back when it started as Falcon 4.0. I know it gets compared to DCS so much and I've always said that once BMS has VR, it will reign supreme. I get frustrated with DCS because the Viper doesn't have the full functions , weapons, and targeting pods like BMS.

Very nice and informative all around review of BMS. I’m in love with BMS and it’s community. “Study Sim” is also quite a filter for let’s say more mature and dedicated serious player-pilots. Once more thumbs up and like 👍

Falcon BMS is well worth playing. I create my own missions and go from there. Tutorials on YT will minimize the steep learning curve. Excellent video.👍74

I've been playing FALCON since the early 1990s and I have to say that no simulation has fascinated me as much as this one. Falcon (now BMS) has such a dense and realistic atmosphere. That's incredible.

So far I have delved someway into Falcon BMS. For me, the biggest barrier was not the graphics nor the level of simulation. It was how hard it is to look up a specific feature or procedure in the documentation. There are multiple manuals and they are sometimes confusing because they use different names for the same item in different locations.

It's crazy to me that this is a mod of Falcon 4.0. I remember reading articles about that in PC magazines when I was a kid! Always wanted it but never got around to it.
