IS THE WINWING TAURUS THROTTLE REALLY GONE???

Love my Taurus. Repurposed 90% of the switches for other functions. It has performed flawlessly. So much better and more useful than my old warthog throttle

Thanks for sharing. I currently have the warthog and wining sent me the Orion two with F 15 EX control heads. I think it is the best all-around head to have for mini aircraft as it has a ton more buttons than most of the standards like F-16 and F 18 for throttles.

I have 2 Super Taurus throttle, one I use and one as replacement in case the first one will maybe have a defect in the future. It's an awesome throttle that beat the sh*t out of the warthog throttle, the tqs and the orion throttle. If winwing will bring a Super Taurus with force feed back i will buy it. Hope they will also bring out force feedback heli rudders, those are really needed, because Brunner Innovation products really dissapointed me and and simnautica stuff does not fit on my monstertech rig

I don't see why they discontinued it in the first place considering its popularity, I use their f16 stick and the Orion 2 throttle and love them. My only complaint with Winwing is they just seem to have a hard time keeping stuff in stock and they tend to discontinue products pretty fast compared to other companies. That being said I think they would be on the top if they can release a FFB throttle and Stick at a reasonable price.

I have the Super Taurus, their MFD's, UFC + HUD controllers in my hornet simpit. Using a thrustmaster warthog stick base with the TM Hornet stick with extension. I'm also using tekcreations hornet left and right side console controllers, master arm+ecm+left & right annunciators+IR Cool/HMD controller, hook, gear, and wingfold controllers and finally his ALR-67 controller. I made my own landing gear panel that also adds functionality to the FCS bit switch, AV Cool, and canopy switches.

I'm currently on my old setup until after the SC Update has been out for a while. I didn't want to switch over as I'm changing everything. What is your current HOTAS system U? I'm on TM Warthog and MFG Crosswinds at the moment. I have to give them kudos for not spamming the market with older modules like the Super Taurus which is a Win/Win - We don't have to purchase and then wished we would have waited, and by the time Cyber Taurus comes out, we will be hungry for it! I know I am. They gave me the Orion2 Throttle w/15EX and Orion2 Throttle Base with F/A-18C w/Extension. I just updated each piece individually per the SOP in anticipation of my conversion to the Aluminum Profile Rig with Full WW for Tech Testing, Reviews, and Recommendations. I expect that my time with Orion2 throttle will be 6 months or less. As soon as I hear something (and can talk about it publicly, I will. ~Juice

I got my thrust master FA 18 hornet grip add-on last week. But I wasn’t aware that it did not have a twist for a Rudder or grnd steering input. I’ve been Flying with a twist handle for Rudder and ground steering. 😂

I wonder if the Ava base twist, check that online. I don't track any thrust anymore. The warthog was great, but you definitely had to have pedals with it. The win-win throttle stick are 1000 times better. Still you need pedals.

I have the Taurus throttle, and it is epic. Love it!! I would be interested in a motorized throttle quadrant for something like a 737, but not for the Hornet. I was an early adopter of Win Wing products, and they continue to impress with their quality and value. I am an IRL A320 Captain, and I am enjoying their new FCU. I look forward to their new line of products emulating Airbus, and that other airliner company's tubeliners! 😆

I saw the NineLine.... WinWing are making some impressive equipment, and that Cyber Taurus FFB is definitely enticing.

The only concern of the super Taurus is the price. There are those out there with disposable income and when you have an overstock and they're slow to come to get it. Then management will turn it into demand then supply. They went from supply and demand to demand then supply. It is a high-end as high as I have ever seen in a Hotas. I don't know where the feedback would be involved in the throttle. I'm a Helo old rotor head. In my time all we had was rotaries and gimbals and gyros. Every inch was analog. We fired up to 100%. Let her warm up on the ramp up and let a let That's it let er rip tater chip.

I was not interested in the super Taurus at first, and then I missed the boat by not getting one which I wish I had now with my current set up. So I'm eager to get the cyber Taurus if it comes out as well as the force feedback throttles if telemetry allows for auto throttle coupling And anything else that would be compatible with it. I really don't see anything else except for the auto throttles guide response wooden couple in the hornet. The layout of the panel for me is the most accurate to the hornet as I've seen. And I've been lucky before, with my warthog purchased, that was brand new in box but a year old, I doubt that I'll find somebody that has a super Taurus in a box that they have an opened yet but that would be sweet.

@@AIRWARFAREGROUPI bet there are a few that have purchased more than one for that very reason. I bet you. If I look it up now they'll be one. That'll be brand spanking new still in the box. Now I would definitely meet that individual because he's going to want to make a profit for his investment for the foresight for being astute to the circumstances that were coming down the road when they went from supplying demand. To demand and supply. Anybody could have seen that. I bet you if you looked that up and I have an Android phone but I can just put super Taurus and they'll be a whole panel to look at. Yes many have been used and some are really upfront about what switch is not working or what have you. But I know there are some flight Sims individuals out there that seen that coming and there's a good probability even as long as that has ended that you have a good shot at getting one. Me myself, I would take the drive and meet the person with a laptop and plug in the USB and check it out. Anybody that's honest surely wouldn't have a problem with that. Take care brother. Thinking of Auto-Throttle action in my dreams. 🫡 I have not heard one bad word from anybody about this throttle, but I'm sure that's got some problems, everything mechanical has the possibility of breaking down but the reputation of this and I'm hoping they keep it beefy.

When I saw the force feedback f18 stick I knew down the line they would come out with an auto throttle as well. And you know they are

Honestly, they are hush hush even around me...but with the effort to do that "goodbye Super Taurus" video a year ago and the fact that it ended with that shroud and hint, I assume it's coming. If not, I'm going to China myself to sell the idea because it is the BEST for Hornet in my opinion. I hope you are right!

The FFB (Cyber) Taurus throttle is surely coming, hence it being teased when they announced the discontinuation of the OG Taurus. The FFB Throttle base will likely be in the same ballpark price wise as the Cyber Taurus base, with grips and possibly side panels as extra options. The motors might also be the same between the stick and throttle bases, both having 2 motors, 1 for each axis. You could then not only have an auto-throttle and rumble features, but also FFB detents set in the software, which would potentially allow you to have different profiles per aircraft/sim, which can be changed on the fly. The FFB racing pedals by Simucube (Active Pedal) might be a comparable product.

I use the Orion 2 F-16 throttle. I really like it. The precise sliders, the good tactile feel in the buttons and encoders is great. What i also really appreciate with the throttle is that every way of a switch is a button. So no "on or else" bindings. True 1-1-1 switches. I use the VKB GF3 stick. I also have a TM Warthog throttle, that is mostly used as a "button box".

Thank you for being that point to the conversation. Absolutely, I agree. That was my first point with them in our initial meeting on Friday. Saturday afternoon, after I agreed to work with WinWing, we sat down for lunch and they explained to me some of the organization and communications structure. I recommended they consider hiring liaison officers on the West Coast that were fluent in both languages to help facilitate the communication timeline back to headquarters and the factory. My initial 2 1/2 days with them was not enough time to discuss all of the strategies needed to improve that. But I have a direct contact that is very responsive and I hope to help you guys get better service.

BogeyDope, Prime (Aviation Plus) Tuuvas and I are meeting today to do a joint FSExpo24 review and we're going to share our thoughts on the MOZA Ecosystem collection and it's parts. It wasn't ready to go at the show and it might have impacted their first impression. The higher price was also a "gasp" moment when they revealed that. For me, parts feel cheap, it seems higher priced that it should be, and for the throttle base, I didn't care for the high-gloss finish but they might have just forgotten to take the protective plastic film off of it. For the features on the MOZA Throttle Base, I'd rather spend less money and get a WinWing Orion2 with any of the dual-throttle aircraft attachments. I think MOZA will eventually get there on capabilities, and if someone has extra money to burn for just saying they own a "Moza" all power to them. I'm not saying this because of my relationship with WinWing, but Moza came out swinging hard and foul-tipped the ball out of play. But they are still at bat. ~Juice

I've got my Super Taurus mothballed atm, as I transitioned to the F-16. So the Orion 2 setup was moved into place. Sad to see the ST being phased out, as it anchored WW as a true HOTAS dealer and eclipsed the TM products.
