@@lunaticmotorstormer there are 2 endings to dark souls. One where you reignite the flame with your own body and soul, effectively become the next lord of cinder. The other is where you leave the fire to burn out, and you become the dark lord. The line "I'll quench the cinder's desire to let there be fire again." Could mean you give yourself to the flame, giving it fuel, to "let there be fire." The other is to leave it, once it burns out, there's no need for fuel. Effectively "quenching" the flames need for fire.

@@mitchellneu strictly speaking it doesn't end the cycle, flames will eventually be lit again. and then the choice will have to be made again. it might change the exact way it happens but both linking the flame and letting it die will result eventually in a new age of fire and dark. I believe dark souls 2 lore went a bit deeper into this.

Man! Personally, I think this is the best fan-made video game song out there! It invokes a strong sense of purpose, mystery, intrigue, and genuine awesomeness in the Dark Souls world. It was worth standing awake until 6 am. (dam time zones) and be part of the premiere stream. Each album of you feels different. Let There Be Fire is like album full of soudtracks for movies, games, etc but the songs have vocals. The lyrics and instrumentals are awesome and done with passion. The vocals are also amazing and it is possible to hear your improvement in singing. So at the end: good job as always Avi. Always stay true to yourself and praise the sun [\T/]
