For some strange reason I haven’t seen any crows lately. Now I’m thinking ok if it works was it because the crows calmed down or did a few get sick.

It works. I use it in the powder form on my sweet corn. I have used it for 5 years now. I no longer have trouble with crows or birds pulling my corn. One bite makes them sick to there stomach.

I sure hope it does. That’s always been a factor when planting corn. Hopefully now I don’t have to worry about it.

Thanks for sharing the video Joey. In my opinion you put it on about right as you want a good coating on the seed. It's not going to bother the seed. Good looking job. Thanks for the tip on the injector. I have a brand new one from case IH that's never been used. I'll be sure to get it bent a bit. I had thought about that before and you showed me that is the ticket. Can't wait to see how it does and I hope the crows get good and sick. Leno you done a great job videoing. God Bless Y'all.

I look forward to seeing the results. I was wondering how well it would coat the seed but it definitely did a good job. Those seed went from red to white right quick.

Good job Joey. Hopefully that works. Just an fyi, your math was right about needing a half ounce. I do fertilizer and pesticide calculations all the time for my job. For future reference, there are 2 tablespoons in an ounce. Looking forward to seeing how it works.

I was a little thick. I realized later I was using a tablespoon instead of a teaspoon. But hey if it don’t hurt germination a little thick is not bad.

I have two of the injectors in my soil they always stop up. Ill try getting one bent to see if it makes a difference. Fifty pounds only does three rows for me in my sandy soil type. 900 ft of row.

I was just pickling it a little bit. I’ll put two bags on those 8 rows once I see how this Avipel is going to do.

Thanks for the injector tip. I gave up on mine lol but I’m gone bend it and retry it. I liked the idea of it but when it clogged on a long row and sheared my roll pin I was done. You see me doing a lot of my videos myself because my wife can get up with me on foot or on the tractor 😂 she chased me a few videos and I was like yea this ain’t gone work lol little short legs looked like a garden tiller trying to keep up 😂😂. I put that f350 on that spot I had the trouble with that I replanted and they haven’t been back but I move it around every couple days

You need some Kentucky red clay soil. It’s so tight we have to put three corn seed per hill. One to push-one to pull-one to make it through the ground. Crows not strong enough to pull it up. 😁

That’s pretty funny. Lol

Grandaddy used Furadan and Counter, it killed the crows, the cats that ate the crows and the buzzards that ate the cats as well. That was some very strong poison and don’t make it anymore.

I remember there some purple powder stuff we used put on our corn seed when we would plant they don't make that stuff no more
@Jtwes

It was probably stuff that would stop a crow’s breathing.

Should of poured from the bag not dipped your hands in.. it wouldn't have contaminated it. Was it alcohol based or something to dry that fast?
