Cotton looks good. I live in the biggest cotton patch in Texas and our crop is variable this year. We use 40 inch row spacing and use stripper type varieties that we try to keep under 36-40 inches tall for ease of stripping. You were right, the cotton square grows into a white bloom, turns pink, then dries and produces a boll. We measure boll size as dime, penny, nickel, quarter, half dollar, dollar sized bolls as they fill out. We also count the number of locks each boll, and seeds per lock to guesstimate yield. Cotton starts to change physiologically around 5 nodes above white flower, and starts to adjust its fruit load (cut out) at 3 and less nodes above white flower. You will walk out in a week or two and see a lot of dried blooms on dime sized bolls sitting on the ground. It could be pests but it is likely just the physiological change the plant is going through. Cotton drops well over 50% of the fruit it produces. What a crazy plant! I make a living checking that beautiful crop and am happy to see that y’all are enjoying it too. Thanks for the videos, keep them coming!

@pecangrovems4 ай бұрын
They would sprout here if I let them set that long. Those were probably vine potatoes there actually the best eating potato. We plow the hole field to get the vine potatoes with the ones in the rows. It's best to leave the stem on the melons so they will last. The belly of the melon should be yellow not white.i run the wheel weights on my tractor front and back. He can do it if I did. My front ones I believe was 35 lbs rear was 135 lbs I believe. Stowells is my favorite sweet corn. I get censored really bad videos taken down or demonetized for silly stuff.
