This is a perfect home! Only major change I would make is to swap the fireplace for a cast iron stove with oven. Every other change I would make would be purely cosmetic. BRAVO!

Hi Designer, I would install a couple of celling fans from the rafters. On reverse they push the warm air down. Keeping the cosy feeling of the room. Keeping it cool during the warmer weather. Love the floor plan❤ Thank you

Lots of great porch space! As you enter, the table on the left could be replaced by a place to hang your coat. There is a closet beneath the stairs, but that is needed for pantry purposes. Accessing the master closet by way of the bathroom isn't ideal. I like the little mezzanine overlook. I'd swap the upstairs tub for one that can be more easily used with a shower, but aside from details like that, this is a functional plan.

I don't like the high ceiling, the heat rises up and it's cold down below. You could get an additional floor upstairs by lowering the ceiling in the living room. I think that's nicer and practical too. When I go into a house as a woman, everything has to be nice and practical too, when I see the dormer windows, I feel sick just looking up at them, we ladies have to struggle up there to clean them. Practical, nice, cozy thinking wouldn't be a bad idea when designing houses. And I hope that you think about that in the next house.

The only thing I found that I didn’t like about this place was the main entry. There was, as usual, no place to hang coats, gloves, hats or boots at the door.
