This is a lovely two bedroom 1.5 bath home with a delightful front porch and a deck outback. What I don’t care for is the isolation of the kitchen from the guests, the lack of a master suite with bath, and the roof pitch which will not accommodate for snow melt.

In addition skylights are an absolute terrible idea in norther climates with snow. Much better are Solatube. Less light but none of the recurring myriad problems skylights bring.

@@teresal5553 It is to warn people who are in love with the fantasy of skylights. A fantasy for northern climates but fine elsewhere. Solatube are the way to go in that respect but they are a compromise to the real thing.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! GORGEOUS! I especially love the larger rooms that provide wider walking spaces, easy access for wheelchairs also! I was hoping to see a large walk-in pantry, that has been a long time dream of mine. A place to put all my appliances and staples. I would be able to have meals going in slow cookers in the pantry without taking up counter space in the kitchen. I wish I had the talent these people have at designing such wonderful homes that are not only beautiful, but can fit the life style and needs of each individual. I have to watch the video again, it is just too beautiful to watch only once.

Quite an attractive house, and for me I'd make very few adjustments. I'd reduce the entry by 3 feet by sliding the half bath down, creating a large storage closet facing the laundry room. The kitchen has some full-height pantry cabinets, and I'd add more upper cabinets (open shelves in kitchens get yucky.) for even more storage. I'd use conventional rather than pocket doors for the bedrooms. Of course I'd have a gas fireplace rather than a wasteful open one. All just details, and then it would work for me!

It's very nice. I think if you are going with that much square footage, you have used the space well. Lots of room for entertaining. I like having both covered and open outdoor spaces. The hallway across from the laundry is a bit of wasted space but otherwise nicely done.

In the video I didn't show the location of Water/Heater, but in reality the Laundry room is large enough to hold those things.
