Another wonderful cottage! I would only add shower and sliding doors take out tubs and pocket doors. I also would just do 1 bedtroom up stairs not 2 . Thats just a idea. I have the living room carpet in my home and the sofas from your last cottage lol love all you videos. ❤

I like this design. The absence of entry storage limits the appeal in snowy/rainy climates. The downstairs flex room is a good idea - home office, den, guest bedroom or a combo thereof! I think you could put more room in the master bed by repositioning the door and getting rid of that bit of hallway leading to the master. In my ideal world I would put a door connecting the master bed to the upstairs bath, giving the option of an ensuite. Great airy feeling and I like the kitchen functionality.

I like this design very much. I agree that a mud room/coat room area is needed, no matter what climate. I suggest converting the part of the porch that is adjacent to the living room into a 6 ft wide enclosed hallway with a seat and coat clips or closet. By doing so, less dirt gets tracked into the living room and coats are put away before entering the main house. A single door to the porch could be added to the hallway design. Also, since space in any kitchen is essential, changing the floor to ceiling door between the porch and kitchen to two windows would be helpful so that the kitchen table can be placed against the wall below the two new windows. The working portion of the kitchen can then be U-shaped for maximum counter & storage area with shelves above and cabinets below. Overall, a beautiful design!

I absolutely love the design and the exterior look of this house. The gray brick and dark wood and the posts that look like trees. All the nooks and little windows and the gray brick wall in the bedroom add so much personality to this home!

Ilove this house honestly it’s your best build ever the only two things I would do to it is add a porch swing and the bathroom that had a bathtub in it I loved the bathtub I would find away to add jacuzzi inside the tub beautiful tub and house ilove all the woodworking inside and outside from porch to flooring to ceiling to cabinets I love the real fireplace and I love all the sconces in the house inside and outside this is a beautiful house

this is a very fine cottage. I would set that in a brick (same size as these) to paint in white; Congatulations to the designer. It has everything you need. I would remove the lockers upfront, anyways excellent design.

If I chosen a place like this I would want to 2nd floor opened up wider with a big bathroom with shower & bath-tub & a master bedroom big enough for extra space for a love sofa & a recliner & 2 decent sized windows, a big kitchen & a decent size dining room connected to front-room wider then longer in size, 1 1/2 bathroom on main floor, decent sized laundry room & a large backyard with a superb deck! Nice home. I agree about the living room. Needs more room for boots and coats. Kitchen needs to be bigger, chef kitchen. Would prefer a cabin feel to it.

Great house design. Put a mudroom on back or side entry for wet weather. All just lovely except for the lack of color. Wood is warm but everything else in white leaves it too sterile and lends a facility feeling. I'd have to paint every room to lose the staged look.

Nice but I noticed the door in upstairs (white) bedroom can't open past 90° because it hits ceiling/roof slope. Suggest pocket door or hinge to swing out or best option: move wardrobe to exterior wall
